I was looking through the saved fashion photos, searching for a New Year's Eve gown. This one looks kinda classy and could be worn to a fancy new year's eve event. Count down on the purses, 1-2-3, and tell us which ones you like best for the dress. It's all for fun and just a whimsical thing!
My thoughts: I really like this dress but sure couldn't wear it (maybe 40 years ago!). As for the purses, I think they would all be fine but I like #3 best for some reason. What are your thoughts? Are you going out for new year's eve this year?
Update: My sister left yesterday morning and arrived home safely mid-afternoon (praise God!). We had a great time and a lovely Christmas. I went to work in the morning and spent the afternoon at home, putting Christmas decorations away.
Today, when I get home, I will clean the house. Blogging (and in person) friend, Cheryl (Sunlit Pathways) and her hubby will be arriving at Hotel D'Orsaneo (winking) tomorrow. They will be bunking here until January 8th so they can visit with their oldest (Justin) and his family who now live in Lakeland. Daughter Michelle and grandson Oliver are coming with them (and the new puppy). Michelle, Oliver, and puppy will be staying with Justin and family. I hope I can join the fun once or twice while they are here. They are a beautiful family!!
I will post a few photos from Christmas tomorrow. I have so many blogs to catch up on. I will be reading, even if I don't leave a comment. I've missed you all. The new year is fast approaching!! Peace and hugs!!

Beautiful blog
ReplyDeleteI like purse number two. No particular reason, but it is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteI like either 1 or 2 and hope they have a strap tucked inside the bag. What a festive backdrop, Terri! No plans as we typically don't go out on New Year's Eve night. We might do lunch, but will be safely tucked in at home during the evening hours.
ReplyDeleteI almost can't choose. I like all three purses. Maybe 1. I could see myself standing there for far too long trying to decide in real life:)
ReplyDeleteChristmas is all tucked away except for the outdoor Nativity, but we will probably get that done too.
I think I'm leaning toward purse #2, Terri. I don't know why it appeals to me!
ReplyDeleteWon't it be fun to have Cheryl and her family with you? I expect lots of photos, my friend.
Blessings!
#3 here.. thought not keen on any of them... So glad you had a wonderful time...
ReplyDeleteLovely! For no particular reason, I'm most drawn to #1. Glad to hear Tammy made it home safely ... and you're looking forward to Cheryl and her family's arrival. Have fun!
ReplyDeleteHi Terri. I thing #2 would be the one I would pick. As far as I know we will not be going out New Years Eve other than being at church for the evening service.
ReplyDeleteWow, I love this dress! I think #2 purse is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteI love "Hotel D'Orsaneo!" What a great friend you are to so many!!
Well, I think I like #1 best, as it looks the easiest to "clutch" and will hold more "stuff". LOL The dress is lovely, but alas, where I live there is no place to go where I could wear such an outfit even if I could fit into it! LOL. But it's nice to 'dream" a little and pretend we are going out for New Year's Eve. Most likely I will be in bed way before midnight, as per usual. LOL Oh, I am SO happy that Cheryl and hubby will be staying with you. That sounds so wonderful! I know they will be good company for you and you for them. Please do take pictures and share with us, and also when you are ready we do want to see your Christmas pictures with Tammy, etc. I'm SO happy she was able to come down after all. I know that was wonderful for both of you. Welcome back!
ReplyDeleteOoooo....I love this dress! So elegant. I'd pair it with purse #1.
ReplyDeleteI think I will pick number one - for me it seems to go with the dress. Glad your sister made it home safe. Enjoy more company!
