Monday's Weekend Recap...

Another weekend has flown by.  Friday was a typical work day for me.  I stopped for gasoline on the way home.  When I got home, I tinkered a bit getting Christmas decorations out and I got the tree decorated.

I did sleep in on Saturday and the cats actually let me!! I got my Christmas decorating done, deciding to not put lights out front this year. Bah-humbug.  I did put poinsettias out there and my porch railing is decorated.  I also changed my porch light to green. Here are some photos I took inside...

My little tree...

My grands are always on my tree.  Tristan and Lauren.

My Santas...

My Advent candles, Angels, and Mary and Baby Jesus.

This is where I clip my Christmas cards.  I've gotten THREE already!

Yesterday, I went to Sunday school and church.  I was a greeter, which is always fun.  Of course, it was the first Sunday of Advent so the front of the church was decorated.  I didn't get a picture this week.  This coming Saturday is our church's Christmas Party/Potluck.  I'm looking forward to that.

Peace and Hugs!

Wishing you a blessed day!
The SON is shining!

  4. Your tree is so dear! That's similar to my old favorite (pre-Tom) -- no muss, no fuss! Love your Santa Claus collection - particularly the tall skilly dude with the crazy cane.

  5. I love your decorations, Terri! We got an early start, and are pretty well finished. Still have to get on those Christmas cards, though.
    Blessings!

  6. I love your tree. Mine is small too. Love your Santas and other decorations too. My tree is finished. But I still need to put out a few other things. I'm glad you had a good weekend and I hope your week will be good too.

  7. Everything is so lovely. I love your little tree, and the Santas and the Nativity figures. Oh, I love that your church is having a Christmas dinner too. We don't have a specific Christmas dinner, but we do have that Agape Luncheon potluck on Saturday, and I expect it will be Christmassy. So I guess you could say we do have one! LOL. Our ladies' luncheon is next week. There's plenty of activities happening and I can barely keep up."tis the season". Have a blessed and wonderful week!
