Whimsical Fashion Fun...

There isn't a linky and there aren't any rules.
Check out the dress and pick the shoes you like best!
It is all for fun and just a whimsical thing.
Photos are from The Storybook of Dreams and Beauty.

I was looking for red or green and found this sweet gown.  It's holiday party time.  Count down on the shoes 1-2-3 and tell us which ones you like best for the dress.  It's all for fun and just a whimsical thing!

My thoughts:  The model looks a little scary but the dress is sweet, and it's red.  As for the shoes, you know I'm picking #1 because the heel is lower and it looks the most comfortable.  What are your thoughts?

Peace and Hugs!

Holiday Blessings to you and yours!
The SON is shining!!

PS:  I'm going to take a few days off from Blogger, as are many of you.  My sister has had to postpone her visit because of a medical issue.  She will come down after the first of the year and then we will have our Christmas celebration.  We are both disappointed but my dinner will go on and she will have Christmas dinner with her dear neighbors, Jeff and Amber.  We are both okay with this little disappointment and setback.  Sometimes you just accept what you can't control and move on.  God is always in control.

Next on my list, after I host Christmas dinner, is to prepare for guests to arrive on the 29th.  Cheryl (Sunlit Pathways) and her hubby are coming down for 12 days to visit their son and his family, bringing their daughter Michelle, grandson Oliver, and the new puppy, Toby, with them!!  Michelle, Oliver, and Toby will stay with the kids.  I get Cheryl and Pat here!!  I told them puppy is also welcome but I'm sure he will have more fun with all the kiddos and their pets.  I will get a few pictures to share with you later next week.

I wish you all a very blessed Christmas!!

  1. Lovely background, Terri! I am sorry about the change in plans with your sister, but it sounds like you will have a good visit with Cheryl and her husband. That model does look scary. I am going with #1 because they look more comfortable than the other two. Wishing you a blessed and joy-filled Christmas.

  2. Yes, that model does look a little scary. :) The dress is pretty though and I also choose shoe #1.
I'm sorry your sister is delayed. Glad your party will still happen, and then you can look forward to her still coming!
    Merry Christmas dear friend!

  4. First, I say #1 also and yes the model is a little scary. I'm sorry your sister has had top post pone, but I'm glad you've already rescheduled it. Have fun at the dinner and then enjoy your guests coming after Christmas! Merry Christmas Terri!

  5. I like shoe number two - I think it matches the dress.

I will be off for a while myself - remember Andy? He is getting married tomorrow, and we are getting my son and his family in from Ohio tonight.

Merry Christmas and I am sorry about your sister!

  6. Shoe #1 for me, too, Terri. Sorry to hear that your sister can't make it for Christmas, but at least you will see her after the first of the year. A visit with Cheryl and her family sounds lovely! Tell her I said "hello." :)

  7. Shoe #2 in the imaginary world.
Terri, I wish you the merriest of Christmases in spite of not having your sister. May you move into the new year with joy as well.

  8. Regarding the dress, I agree with you on all of what you said, scary model and shoes #1. She actually looks sick to me, so I said a prayer for her, whoever she is. But the dress is pretty! LOL. Now, regarding your sister not being able to come, I am so sorry to hear, but am glad you have a plan B. Praying she will be feeling better soon. And now, how wonderful that you get to have Cheryl and her hubby with you for that time! What a lovely time you will have, I am certain! Sometimes God works in mysterious ways and gives us blessings and surprises we never expected! Sounds like you will have a Merry Christmas after all and a Happy New Year too!!

  9. #1 for me, as well. Normally I prefer a higher heel, but it matches her bodice so well. So sorry your sis won't be joining you, and I pray her 'issue' will soon be resolved. Your attitude is enviable; always look forward to next time!
Merry Christmas blessings, dear friend! xo

PS - Somebody buy that model a cheeseburger. With fries!

  10. As often happens when I play "catch up" on Sundays with my blog reading, I know the plans for your sister coming are back on. Sorry you had the brief set back, thinking she would have to delay the visit. As for this post with the red dress and shoes, I could have written just about word-for-word what you have said on everything. Love that #1 shoe!

    Merry Christmas!
