Thanks to Annie for this week's Tuesday 4! You can join in right HERE!
Question Variety
Welcome once again to Tuesday 4 in honor of our dear friend Toni Taddeo.

1. What kind of restaurants do you enjoy most and why? Do you have a favorite? I enjoy restaurants, period! LOL If I don't have to cook or think about what to cook, it's a good day! I like Italian, Mexican, Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, American... you get the idea!
2. Do you have a favorite cartoon from film, news, or comic book? My favorite comics include Pearls Before Swine, Pickles, and Baby Blues. I read the daily cartoons before I skim through the rest of the newspaper.
3. Do you belong to any clubs or societies or organizations? Can you tell us about it? Not anymore. When I retired from work, I also retired from many organizations I belonged to. They just make me weary now. I don't have to network with colleagues for business purposes now and most of them have dues that don't fit the budget now. Our new church's community group is the only "group" I belong to.
4. The internet is filled with ads. Are there any ads that you enjoy seeing or hate to see? I don't like being inundated by sales ads. When it is possible to turn them in as spam, that's what I do. And don't get me started on the Chinese companies that have such cheap merchandise and make you think you are buying from an American company...

Thanks for your visit today!
Peace & hugs! God bless!!

I also enjoy eating out, but in our little town we really only have two choices and one I am not too fond of, so really it is only one choice, unless you want to count McDonald's! We can go to Palatka, and there we love Corky Bells on the St. John's River. No clubs for me either...just church, and that is enough and all I need! Haven't watched cartoons in a while and we don't get a paper, but I always enjoyed the comics when we did. Enjoyed your answers!
ReplyDeleteYou can't eat inside restaurants here yet, only those with outdoor seating so we haven't been eating out. Usually we hit the drive thru at McDonalds cause its easy + too hot to cook.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
Eating in restaurants here is a big ordeal, have to keep your mask on until the meal gets served, stupidity and panic porn of course. We stopped at Big Lots yesterday in Olean, and I never really noticed all the Chinese crap, sad, truly it is.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your answers, Terri. Have a great day friend.
Although Danny is a great cook, I do miss eating out once in awhile. Being in this lock down situation is definitely for the birds!
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Terri!
I love Thai, Italian, and Mexican. I am missing eating out kinda. We often pick it up and come home with it. I feel I eat healthier by eating at home, but who doesn't love for someone else to cook for them. I think that Chinese stuff may be coming to an end. I went in three stores about two weeks ago...TJMaxx, Tuesday Morning, and Ross and they were so empty. All three looked like they were going out of business. Quite frankly I think it will be good for Americans to not have the cheap stuff to spend money on all time...me included. I would love to see manufacturing coming back here for people to have jobs like that again.
ReplyDeleteI am with you on the organizations. Church and family is enough for me and I don't miss any of that that was necessary with work at all!
I SO miss being able to walk in a nice restaurant and being served by a 'real' person, know what I mean? Take-out just loses something in translation. LOL. In the 70's I enjoyed membership in Beta Sigma Phi, but I don't think that even exists. 'Just joined Millbrook's brand-new Lions Club with a few church ladies, and now I'm having significant "What on earth was I doing?" moments. *Le sigh*
ReplyDeleteI don't think I answered my questions right. I was thinking internet ads. Oh well. I am not a big fan of commercials, I usually fast forward through them if I can.
ReplyDeleteI love restaurants too. Loved your answers! Have a great Tuesday!

Girl we have that in common - I love to go to restaurants or bring food home!!
ReplyDeleteLoved your answers today.
ReplyDeleteHave a great Tuesday.
I always like seeing your answers. I miss going out to eat once in a while.
ReplyDeleteLike you, when I quit working I left most of the other connections I had there. I did just join the Green Bay Botanical Garden though and hope to become more connected there at some point. xo Diana
I'm with you on eating out. I so enjoy it but, right now, it's just not the same. The restaurants are limited and there's so few folks that it's a bit sad. I have been taken by one of those Chinese companies that posed as a Kendra Scott destributor. Thankfully I was able to get my money refunded. Happy week Terri!
ReplyDeleteYes, so much of the Chinese companies are a scam with the cheapest junk! Thanks for joining in again this week!
ReplyDeleteI am still trying to figure out the Motour add... you know the half man half motorcycle. He says they are out in the wild... haven't seen any... :)
ReplyDeleteGood questions and answers. I've never cared much for going out to eat at a restaurant, but I'm starting to look forward to having that choice! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteI like to eat out too!
ReplyDeleteWe are big Pickles fans here. Sometimes we think the cartoonist has a camera on us!
Grr - I've had trouble with those chinese companies too!
Joe and I say that all the time about Pickles! LOL
DeleteThank you for your honesty in saying community organizations just make you tired now. I feel that way, too, about such things. I feel confirmed now.
