As usual, my photos are from our trip to the farm (Joe's Client) on Wednesday.
This is Doc and Pistol, anxious to get their carrots from the carrot lady!
Majesty and Vanna got some too.
The trees down one of the lanes were blooming and they were full of bees.
I thought I got a photo of a bee on the flowers but there it is, bottom right, flying.
This bloom had three or four bees but they don't show up in the photo.
I didn't hang around because I am allergic to bee and wasp venom.
Another shot of Doc and Pistol.
Then I walked over to see the cattle. I didn't have to talk them into coming over.
As soon as I walked up to the fence, they headed my way!
I talked softly to them. When I walked toward the fence, they all backed up.
When I backed up, they came forward. The lamb is still tagging along.
Doc and Pistol wanted to make sure the cattle weren't getting carrots!!
This week went by pretty fast for us. We spent yesterday tearing our den apart to give it a deep cleaning. Well, half of it got done. Joe's office side still needs some work but he is still working on clients' tax returns and accounts so we will tackle that side when he is done. The side we did tackle included pulling out a refrigerator (our extra fridge), a cats' litter box, the cat tree, a filing cabinet with my printer on it... Baseboards cleaned, floors vacuumed and mopped (cat litter dust!!). It took most of the morning and feels really good to have it done.
Thanks for stopping by! Happy Friday!
Peace & hugs! God bless!!

Very beautiful post . Horse looks gorgeous
ReplyDeleteYour coming here, rightttttttttttttttt???? (to clean, lol)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos, Terri. And sorry, I just don't see FL in our future, sigh. lolol
Nice pictures as always and I would stay away from those bees too! Have a good Friday and weekend.
ReplyDeleteSo enjoyed your photos, Terri, and glad you were able to get some needed deep-cleaning done at your house. Cleaning is never my favorite thing to do, but when it's done, it's such a great feeling.
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
I always love your farm pics.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
It's a good time of year to clean and do things inside...with the AC and fans blowing! Love those beautiful blooms and the animals at the farm. I don't like to get close to bees and I hate the flies that bite too. I'm always running from something! lol Hugs!
ReplyDeleteI admire your resolve to capture that bee shot! I don't think I'm allergic, but they sure scare me. Ugh on the deep cleaning. (Feeling guilty, lol) Maybe I'll take all the money we're saving on not eating out and buy a Rumba!
ReplyDeleteThat was a great bee shot! And I looked closely for the others, but they were being elusive. I have great respect for bees and wasps also, and don't like to get too close. They can be really mean if they get riled up! Love your horses and cows and of course the little lamb! Are the cows expecting some kind of treat? I wouldn't know what to give them. I think when we lived on the farm in PA we could give them some dried field corn, but I could be wrong. I was so little, I don't remember much, except the rooster that pecked and clawed at me. So that kept me away from the barnyard! Wow, proud of you for tackling the cleaning job! I need to do that too...it's been a year almost since we moved in and I know it is time to start addressing some of those issues. Gotta be careful, tho, you two...and not overdo it! Seems like that would be a good thing to call in some help for. Hope you have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteLove the pics. Makes one feel tranquil and at peace. Blessings. :)
ReplyDeleteThe cows must have been practicing social distancing. lol
ReplyDeleteThose cows!!!! So cute! I love the lamb behind them too. He's like, "They're my bodyguards" :) LOL
ReplyDeleteScaredy cows? Who would have thought! 😂
ReplyDeleteOh, how I need to deep clean...someday... maybe! ☺ Hope you have a great weekend! 💜
ReplyDeleteTerri, what a delightful visit! I ♥ animals. (more than most people!) xo
ReplyDeleteGood for you two for getting all that cleaning done!
ReplyDeleteI love the cows.
