Sunday Stealing...

65 Questions Part 1

Hi! I'm your host Bev Sykes of the blog "Funny the World". . Welcome to Sunday Stealing. This feature originated and published on WTIT: The Blog. Here we will steal all types of questions from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent questions. (Past hosts include: Our first - Judd Corizan, Mr. L, Kwizgiver and Bud) Cheers to all of us thieves!

Here are questions from Savannah at The Rainbow Society

1. Do you ever doubt the existence of others than you?  No. (SMH)

2. On a scale of 1-5, how afraid of the dark are you?  1 (I'm not afraid of the dark.)

3. The person you would never want to meet?  Barack Obama/Hillary Clinton (I could not be civil.)

4. What is your favorite word?  Just one?  I have no idea.

5. If you were a type of tree, what would you be?  Maple. I loved our backyard Maple tree in Ohio.  Majestic, giving shade in the summer, beautiful color in the fall, the promise of Spring in the winter, and new life in the spring. And they are fun to climb!

6. When you looked in the mirror this morning what was the first thing you thought?  Have mercy.

7. What shirt are you wearing?  A blue & white shirt by Gloria Vanderbilt. I love it. Comfy.

8. What do you label yourself as?  An old lady with lots of life left.

9. Bright room or dark room?  Bright.

10. What were you doing at midnight last night?  Sleeping.

11. Favorite age you’ve been so far?  66!  I'm retired! What's not to like?

12. Who told you they loved you last?  Joe.

13. Your worst enemy?  Pasta, no - make that potatoes.  Nope... pasta.

14. What is your current desktop picture?  Joe and me at Lakeside Village.

15. Do you like someone?  I like lots of folks!!

16. The last song you listened to?  I don't remember. Music is just background noise for me.

17. You can press a button that will make any one person explode. Who would you blow up?  There are several I think the world would be better without, but I won't be pushing that button. Sorry.

18. Who would you really like to just punch in the face?  See the answer above.

19. If anyone could be your slave for a day, who would it be and what would they have to do?  I so dislike that word 'slave' and would never consider making anyone do my will for a day. Sorry.

20. What is your best physical attribute? (showing said attribute is optional)  Gosh, I don't know anymore. I'm old and fat and have frizzy hair. Maybe my smile (but I have crooked teeth, too).

21. If you were the opposite sex for one day, what would you look like and what would you do?  I wouldn't look much different since I am six feet tall and look like my dad.  I would still be retired!! LOL

22. Do you have a secret talent? If yes, what is it?  I think I answered this in another blog. I can cross my toes. Not sure that's really a talent though. Ha!!

23. What is one unique thing you’re afraid of?  Unique?  I don't have any unique fears, at least that I have discovered so far.

24. You can only have one kind of sandwich. Every sandwich ingredient known to humankind is at your disposal.  Ham, swiss cheese, deli mustard (with the seeds in it), lettuce, tomato, onion, and hot pepper relish.  Put it on wheat toast and I'm a happy girl.

25. You just found $100! How are you going to spend it?  I would put it in the bank. I'm not a shopper and there is nothing I need right now, other than some extra cash in the bank.

26. You just got a free plane ticket to anywhere in the world, but you have to leave immediately. Where are you going to go?  Up to Illinois to visit my BFF Elaine!!

27. An angel appears out of Heaven and offers you a lifetime supply of the alcoholic beverage of your choice. “Be brand-specific” it says. This would be lost on me. I am not much of a drinker and don't really have a favorite drink or brand. If I DO have a cocktail, it is a house blend because they are less expensive (and I don't know the difference anyway!).

28. You discover a beautiful island upon which you may build your own society. You make the rules. What is the first rule you put into place?  Don't worry, be happy.

29. What is your favorite expletive?  I say sh*t too often and am not proud of myself.

30. Your house is on fire. You have just enough time to run in there and grab ONE inanimate object. Don’t worry, your loved ones and pets have already made it out safely. So what’s the one thing you’re going to save from that blazing inferno?  My purse - my phone and my Kindle are usually in it.

Whew!! That's a LOT of questions!!  Thanks for getting this far!  You can join in with Bev Sykes HERE.  Thank you Bev!!  Good stealing!

Happy Sunday!  Peace & hugs.

  5. I like that your favorite age is the age you are now. I like being older but could do without the aches and pains that are beginning to plague me. However, it is a part of life and I am thankful for every day God grants to me.

  6. Terri, I loved all your answers, some had me rofl...others had me saying, "atta girl". I really loved your answer to #3 & 6 because I feel the same way. AND, sorry to say, I have a slight problem with the 's' word too. Hard as I try it slips out sometimes.

  11. Your #6 had me laughing! I enjoyed your answers and most of the others I've been reading. SS has picked up some new players and lost some of the old. The tone is changing...well, at least softening a great deal.

  12. Interesting set of questions and enjoyed reading your answers Terri. You shouldn't put yourself down though - it's what's on the inside that counts and you have no worries there.
