Y'all know we are running back and forth to the hospital this week, making sure Helen gets to see Cheryl (us too). That said, the only new photos I have are from our visit to the farm (Joe's client) on Wednesday so you are stuck with them, yet again. Helen stayed home by herself while we were gone.

Cheryl Update: Thanks again for your prayers. Cheryl is doing well and has been approved to go to a rehab place for a week before going home. Helen is not able to care for her so we are happy for this extra week before she goes home. She is doing very well, though. This means we will have Helen for another week, which is fine. It is a blessing that we are able to have her here with us while Cheryl recovers.

ReplyDeleteAlways love seeing the farm pictures. I love that you have that special place to get away to for a day, and that the horses love YOU...not the treats! You are the one they look forward to seeing, because they know you love them!! That's my thoughts on that subject, so there! Thank you for being such good friends to your friends, taking care of Helen, and Cheryl too in a special way by relieving her mind of worrying about caring for her mother. You are all a blessing to each other, I can tell. Hope this next week goes well for all of you. Praying!

ReplyDeleteFlorida is mostly farm land, believe it or not. We are second only to Texas in beef and have huge sugar plantations. Most people just know about the coastal areas and beaches.

Praise God for the great Cheryl report. Somehow I missed that Helen was at your house. Guess I read too fast one day. She is blessed to have friends who love her like family. Good neighbors - - - former or present - - - are the best!

ReplyDeleteYou and Joe are such caring friends.
They raise the guineas to clean the yard and pastures of bugs and other small varmints. They even eat snakes! They roam freely and clean. That's all they do.

ReplyDeleteActually they are quite tasty. My brother raises them on his farm that at times is used as a game preserve for hunting. Easy to deal with.
