Last night, the Mas Verde Dinner Group went to Mellow Mushroom. We hadn't been there in a few years, so it was fun to revisit. There were nine of us, so it was a nice group! I got a medium pizza so I could bring some home for another meal or two. It was yummy!!
Yesterday afternoon, I went to Bible study at my church. I enjoy it and always learn so much. Our Pastor is finishing 2 Peter this week, and our Advent series will be on Luke. Advent already!!!
I am having lunch today with my friend, Shirley. I know we will talk about our friend Cindee. I haven't decided yet if I'm going to drive down to Palmetto for her memorial service, the Saturday after Thanksgiving. There is so much going on. I think I will see if Shirley wants to go together for flowers, and we can watch the service on Facebook, where it will be streamed.
Tomorrow, Susan, Sandy, Anne, and I will be going to another Christmas Craft Fair at our local civic center. We had fun last time. This is a different group with around 90 vendors.
This evening, I am going with Susan and Chuck to see a play their granddaughter is in. It is over in Plant City. Should be fun!!
Sunday will be church, laundry, and putting the turkey in the fridge (from the freezer) so it can begin the four-day thaw for Thanksgiving! I'll be cleaning next week and planning seating arrangements and table decorations, etc. Full speed ahead!!
Thanks for your visit! Have a great weekend!!

Mellow mushroom is good; we have one here in Ocala. Nice photos, Terri. Wishing you a beautiful day, and busy? Yes, looking forward to next week when I only have to work 2 days, smiles.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fun bunch of people, and that pizza looks great!! Sounds like you have a lot going on. Oh, thanks for the reminder about the turkey thawing. I have a small one to thaw, and Rose has another little bit bigger one to thaw, and she will actually cook both of them in her oven at once. She has a bigger oven than I do, and that frees up my oven for casseroles, etc. There will be 10 or 11 of us, depending on if my one nephew decides to come or not...Yes, cleaning and prepping is the schedule from here on out... Have a blessed weekend.
ReplyDeleteI have a roaster I use for the turkey, so no oven time for it. It also cooks it faster since it is compact.
DeleteYour pizza looked so good. Now, I have a hankering for pizza. Maybe dinner tonight! Enjoy your lunch with Shirley later today. Have a wonderful weekend, Terri.
ReplyDeleteAnother busy week! I think watching Cindee's service online is a wise idea; I've done so twice now for friends' services in Texas and Colorado. Love modern technology!
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday!
What a wonderful array of friends! I'm glad you can enjoy them so often. The Bible study sounds great!
ReplyDeleteA night out with friends is always good, and leftovers to take home makes it even better.
ReplyDeleteI like your plan of watching the memorial online with Shirley.
Have fun at the craft fair, I've been to a few of those lately too.
Mellow Mushroom does serve great pizza, Terri. Yours looks fabulous! Yes, I think all of us are in for a busy week with Thanksgiving right around the corner. We're looking forward to seeing Giovanni and his family over the holiday. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteYou have the most fun life, my friend! I enjoy so much reading about what you are up to! I love your blouse in the first picture. So colorful! Your pizza looks delicious! Have a cozy weekend as we prep for Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great time, dear Terri. And the pizza looks delicious.
ReplyDeleteYour pizza looks good and so does your company!
ReplyDeleteThe play was so cute and I thought they all did such a good job! Thank you for coming with us!! I'm looking forward to the craft show today with our ladies of the hood - HA!
ReplyDeleteYum to that pizza and the leftovers, I always think pizza tastes better the next day. It sounds like a lovely meal out.
ReplyDeleteI hope you had fun at the craft fair and at the play!
