I did not go to church on Sunday. Not that I'm feeling bad but just because I am coughing, ugly coughing, and didn't want to disturb anyone. So, I did laundry and continued streaming Grantchester, on PBS.
I am working eight hours today because I have Friday off to head up to my sister's house in Georgia. I also have the following Monday off and will make up that time on Tuesday. We are SO excited to have tickets to see Sean Dietrich/Sean of the South in concert!! We both love his writing and music. I will have pictures!!
This is a big birthday week. Daughter-in-law Darlene's, my sister-in-law Jo Anne's, and my daughter-in-love Kali's - they will all be celebrating. Cards are in the mail.

I hope your cough gets better soon. I find the old home remedies like Vicks works better than just about anything. Humidifier etc. I am so jealous that you are seeing Sean of the South. I have read several of his books and follow him on his social media. His wife is from my hometown. I knew her family but she was much younger than me.

ReplyDeleteSounds like had a pretty nice weekend. Hope that cough will leave you soon. I'm gradually going through things and donating them and paring down a lot of stuff. I put a load out for the VVA to pick up and they've already been by and took it all. Happy Birthday to all your family and I can't wait to hear about your concert and see the pictures.

ReplyDeleteI short -- when I'd get those lingering coughs, about the only thing to quiet the 'barking' was slow-sipping a cup of hot water. My boss kept trying to tell me, "Go home!" but she didn't (or wouldn't) understand, I wasn't sick. Oh vey!

ReplyDeleteYou have made some good progress! I am impressed! I am glad you will have a nice long weekend with your sister. We will be traveling at the same times it appears! I pray your cough will be gone and you can relax and enjoy yourself. We will look forward to hearing all about it and the Sean D. concert too!!
