Friday Fotos...

I have a few new photos from this week...

The beautiful sky on Tuesday evening, before Hurricane Idalia got closer.

Another of that blue sky... calm before the storm.

A close-up of my "tie down" that keeps me at home after it is installed.
I have six tie-downs, five stay in place but this one lives in the shed until needed.

The blue dot is Lakeland.  We got lucky this time.

These "cowboys" were at my work yesterday, with their dogs.  A local farmer has cattle that frequently break through the fences and get into Tenoroc.  The farmer hires cowboys to find the cattle and take them home.  I took this photo from my office window.

Peace and Hugs!

When I fall on my knees with my face to the rising sun,
O Lord, have mercy if you please

  1. I've never seen or heard of tiedowns, but that makes sense. So glad you didn't get hit by this storm.
    I like the cowboy pic!

  5. Very smart about the tie downs. Bet they work great. Glad y'all did OK too.
Love the cowboy pic. I wish I could have been a "cow punch" too. Got to do that once in Colorado. It was a hoot.
    Blessings. xx

  6. Thanks for showing us what a tie down looks like. That is very interesting. I'm thankful you got through the storm okay. It's been quite a week for Floridians.

I love that song and we often sing it during Communion. I remember singing it at youth camp too. I've never seen tie-downs like those. That's a great idea. Glad Idalia missed you and the rest of us friends here in Florida. We were blessed. Praying for those on the coast who lost everything. Love to see the horseback riders...hope they found the cows. Happy Labor Day weekend. Do you have to work on Monday? I don't. LOL. I don't ever work on Monday anymore. LOL. not even to clean my house hardly. LOL. (((hugs)))

    1. Yes, I am working on Monday. I don't get paid if I don't work. Tenoroc is open to the public on Monday and I have a project I can work on. SInce I have Wednesday off for my cataract surgery and have that time to make up, I am working on Monday. No big deal.
