Hodgepodge Questions-Volume 519
2. September 13th is National Peanut Day...do you like peanuts? Yes. Your favorite dish that contains peanuts? King Po Chicken, spicey.
3. Something you're currently 'nuts' about? The new season of Virgin River, on Netflix.
4. Your favorite Peanuts character? Charlie, himself. There are several quizzes online if you're curious...I took two and got the same character for both so I'm sure it's accurate lol. (Click here for the link) I took the quiz and got Marcie. I didn't even know there was a Marcie. She is an introvert. I'll stick with Charlie. Snoopy is a close second!!
5. Tell us about a job you worked 'for peanuts'? All of them!! LOL Even with the generous salary I had at the Museum, the hours I actually worked reduced what the hourly rate would be to less than the minimum. Isn't that true for most of us?
6. Insert your own random thought here. I am writing this on Tuesday evening and seem to be fighting a cold... AGAIN! Our small group meeting was canceled for tonight (Tuesday) because more than half of the group is sick. Three of us sat together at church on Sunday and an IDIOT sitting behind us was coughing, sneezing, and blowing his nose (sounding like a donkey!). I shuddered every time, hoping it was just his allergies, or he wouldn't be so stupid to be in church. Guess what... I blame him for this. People, stay home if you are sick!! I did take a covid test and it was negative. Sure hope it doesn't get me down like the last one. Grrrrrrrr.....
Sorry to hear you are under the weather again..I will stay out of politcs but it was wonderful when America was united and all of us had our oars in the water, pulling for her.

Oh, I love King Po Chicken! I got 'Marcie' as well; and like you didn't even know who she was/is. Never much of a fan, but for some reason, I started to think about that old song, Snoopy and the Red Baron. Good times, lol.

Oh I am SO sorry to hear you have a cold, and that a person was so inconsiderate of others to bring his cough and cold to church. That is a big no-no. I mean really, we don't give out perfect attendance pins and buttons anymore for attending church, do we? God forgives us if we miss a Sunday, especially when we are sick and could infect others. Crazy!! I do hope you feel better soon. And yes to all you said in #1. Totally agree!

We tend to forget too easily. Very true. Then someone ? decides not to show the footage anymore because it is too damaging to minds. Well people - kids - everyone ought to know - so that they can be proud of America and know it is the greatest country on earth. Sorry that is one of my pet peeves.
