There isn't a linky and there aren't any rules
Check out the dress and pick the shoes you like best.
It is all for fun and just a whimsical thing.

Lana Turner... Oh my gosh, she was so pretty. Her dress looks like something she could buy off the rack today but it is vintage and lovely. Count down 1-2-3 on the shoes and pick the ones you like best!
My thoughts: Oh, how I love her hair!! The dress is also gorgeous. I'm choosing pair #3 today. Which ones do you like best? Tell us your thoughts! It's all for fun and just a whimsical thing!
Peace & Hugs!!
Cataract update: It all went well. Dee got me there in plenty of time and she waited for me. When they took me back, my eye was loaded with drops, drops, and more drops. The doctor came by and put a mark on my left eyebrow. They took me into the procedure room, hooked me up to monitors, and put me into a lite "twilight" sleep. I didn't hear anything until I woke up back in the waiting area. They sat me up, stood me up, gave me instructions, and took me to the door where Dee was waiting with the car. It was all done in about an hour and a half. I'm writing this at 8:30 on Wednesday evening. It is still a little blurry but it doesn't hurt. I have drops to do four times a day. I have my post-op appointment this morning and then will be cleared to drive so back to work tomorrow. I haven't scheduled the right eye yet, but that may happen at this morning's appointment. So far, it has been very easy. Praise God and I thank you, everyone, for the prayers!!

Lana Turner is lovely, and so is her hair! Wow! The dress is sweet and simple, very summery. I also would have to choose shoe #3, even though they are too high and I really don't like open toe shoes, but there really isn't any other better choice. I'm just glad we don't have to dress like that or wear shoes like that today to be fashionable. Well, maybe if we really want to be fashionable we probably do need to wear those kinds of shoes, but I still think they are crazy to do so. My mother ruined her feet wearing such high heels and pointed toes back in the 60's. She wore them every day to work. I don't know how she stood it.
ReplyDeleteNow, regarding your eye surgery, so thankful all went so well and that it was over so quickly! I understand the drops are VERY important, so be sure to do them as directed. Take care and don't rush back to work unless you just really have to. I will be saying a prayer for you!!
Great news... 3 for me as well.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you are doing well!
ReplyDeleteI love her hair too. Mine is so straight.
I choose #3 as well.
Pretty dress! I'm going with #3 even though I would probably break something if I wore them. Glad your cataract surgery went smoothly, Terri.
ReplyDeleteI say #1 for the shoes. I'm so glad that everything is going so well for your procedure! Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteI like Shoes #3 (that heel!), but can't take my eyes off of #2.
ReplyDeleteThank you for letting us know your experience and how well you're doing!
So glad to hear it all went well, Terri! Lana Turner was such a gorgeous woman back in the day. I'll go with #3, too.
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
I like #3 also! Glad everything went smoothly with your procedure!
ReplyDeleteWish I looked like her! Beautiful dress! I love shoe number 3.
ReplyDeleteOh how you reminded me of my cataract surgery 2 months ago - they flood your eyes in pre-op!
Terri, I am glad the cataract surgery has gone so very well. The Lord has blessed.
ReplyDeleteAs for the fashion issue, I don't like the feeling of an ankle strap, but shoe #1 looks like it MAY have a lower heel, so I'll go with that one. Beautiful dress.
