My thoughts: I do like the dress and actually had one that was almost the same style way back in my younger years! I don't care for the gloves or the big necklace & bracelet but do actually like all of the shoes. I'll pick pair #1 today. What are your thoughts?

Not sure who put that outfit together, but whoever it was doesn't have much fashion sense, in my humble opinion. The blue gloves and the big clunky necklace and bracelet are totally out of step with that dress. And somehow I can't see wearing any of those brown shoes with that dress either. It needs something lighter and less old maidenly. The dress is lovely in itself...they just totally blew the accessories for this one. Sorry, this looks like some kid playing dress up with Mommy's (or grandma's) old clothes. LOL.
ReplyDeleteThat style is very similar to the 70's, isn't it. Not real fond of the ensemble, nothing seems to match or maybe I haven't had enough coffee yet. *giggle* I guess Shoe #1 would do OK.

ReplyDeleteLove the dress. the necklace and bracelet, and the gloves are too much. I do love to wear pearls (wearing earrings and braces today with small pearls!!). I like shoes #1 and #3 but to be especially fancy since I've tossed off the over-sized jewelry, I'm going with shoe #1 this time.
ReplyDeleteUh, my comment had a couple of typos (above). The necklace, bracelet, and gloves are too much. But I'm not wearing "braces" today (smile). I'm wearing 5 bracelets today, 4 of which are pearls.
