Tuesday 4

A Variety of Questions for You

Welcome to Toni Taddeo's Tuesday 4 and thank you so much for joining in!

Let's do a variety of questions this week, okay?

1. Did you have a favorite cartoon program or character as a young person, or even today?  The cartoons in my day were a lot different from cartoons today.  I liked Road Runner, Mighty Mouse, Jiminy Cricket...

2.  Can you whole heartedly give people a second chance or do you find yourself still worried about trusting them?  Once someone destroys my trust in them, it is hard to give them a second chance - though it really depends on what the offense was.

3.  Are there things/activities you'd like to add to your life or do you feel you have enough to do, going on, etc. to keep you satisfied?  I count my blessings daily and like my life right now, just the way it is.  I have enough going on so that I'm not a hermit, but can still just enjoy some downtime.

4.  Can you live without your phone, TV, social media?   I could certainly live without them but I sure don't want to.  I would miss all of you, for starters!! 😀

Peace & hugs!
Praise the Lord, praise
the Lord, O my soul!

  1. I like your answer about social media. Could but would rather not! Great response!

  2. I would really miss social media and my friends here too.
I too have trouble forgetting some offences, although I know I should!

  3. I enjoyed your answers. I would miss social media because of the long distance connections with family and friends. Updates with photos, etc.

  5. Yes, I agree. Without social media we would never have met, and that would be a great loss! I am so thankful for our friendships that we make here in blogland especially! I enjoy this even more than Facebook, although more of my family and "old friends" are on Facebook...it's funny they don't really read my blog and are always surprised when I mention it. LOL. I have found this to be a wonderful outlet for friends as well as a kind of ministry. God is good. Have a wonderful week.

  6. Hmmm, I can't remember ever being keen for cartoons. Amen to #4! Despite the occasional unpleasantness, I'd sure feel bereft w/o the friendships I've discovered -- both on FB and in Blogland. What a blessing!

  7. Saturday's were my day to play outside in the morning, go swimming, or go to the beach. Then we would go inside and watch cartoons & Sci-Fi movies or go to a friend's house and do whatever. That's a happy memory.
I like having a phone of some kind and internet. Don't have DirecTV anymore (commercials are too immoral now & I for sure don't watch the scripted propaganda machine formerly known as "news"). We stream everything now or watch an old movie on DVD. I would miss talking to my Blogging friends too.
    Love & Hugs xx

  8. We share the same cartoon favorites, Terri. And though I know I could live without some modern technology, I wouldn't want to.
    Blessings!

  9. Regarding #4 This is becoming a pet peeve with me. When people are hard over about the need to distance ourselves from social media, they are usually forgetting we need this form of communication to pay our bills, keep in touch with important meetings, and so forth. Social media is a way of life now.
