Book Club Questions
Welcome to another Tuesday 4 . We keep Toni Taddeo's original idea alive here with 4 questions each week.
This week let's pretend we are in a book club but you choose your favorite book to talk about...
1. What book or novel did you like the most or which do you wish to discuss? I have read so many good books I can't say I like just one "the most". If we are "talking about" just one. I'll go with the Stephanie Plum books by Janet Evanovich. I have read all 29 of them and look forward to #30.
2 If you were making a movie of your favorite book who would you cast in the parts? Sandra Bullock would be a great Stephanie. They blew it when they cast Katherine Heigl. She was awful for the part. I don't know who the men would be. Would have to think that through.
3. Did the author of your favorite book/story write anything else? Have you read them? Janet Evanovich has written a bunch of books. I just finished her latest book, The Recovery Agent. It was good and I'll buy the next one but I still like Stephanie better!!
4. If you had to create a playlist of music for the book, which songs would you choose? It's comedy. The music would have to be written specifically for the movie. (How's that for a cop-out?!)

I am hosting my church small group tonight. I'm serving sliders (ham and turkey), baked beans, deviled eggs, and a fruit salad. Cindy is bringing dessert. Still don't know how many are coming! Could be 8 or all 14. Hoping for 10!! LOL

ReplyDeleteI need to get back to reading Stephanie! Sandra bullock is a great pick; I can't remember the men's names, but was underwhelmed by their movie characters, too.
ReplyDeleteOh!, it just came to me -- Ranger. How about Al Pacino ... and dark and dangerous, lol.
That's nice to have books to really get lost in. I feel that way about almost all Agatha Christie stories. I might have to give the Plum books a go. I like to look for new stories to enjoy.
