There isn't a linky and there aren't any rules!
Take a look at the outfit and help decide which shoes complement it best.
It's all for fun and just a whimsical thing!!

How pretty is this vest?! It's a little vintage, but I would wear it now if it were in my closet! How about the shoe choices they gave us? Count down 1-2-3 and tell us which ones you like best for the model. It's all for fun and just a whimsical thing!
My thoughts: I love the flower details on the vest and am old enough to remember pleated skirts (and dry cleaning, and trying to press the pleats back after sitting on them!!)! As for the shoes, I think I will stick with the standard pump, #3. The heel is too high for me, but the model can probably handle it. What are your thoughts?Peace and Hugs!
Come, Thou Fount of every blessing,
Tune my heart to sing Thy grace;
Streams of mercy, never ceasing,
Call for songs of loudest praise.

Oh, that is so pretty! And I can see the embroidery on the sleeves of the blouse too! Really very pretty! I would definitely wear this if it fit! And yes, I agree with you on shoe #3, in a lower heel, of course! LOL.
ReplyDelete"Teach me some melodious sonnet,
sung by flaming tongues above;
praise the mount! I’m fixed upon it,
mount of God’s unchanging love!"
That is a pretty vest but it's not my type of thing. I remember being at school and having to wear a pleated skirt and my mother not enjoying ironing them. I would go with #3 too, the others are nice but with the detail on the vest I think the shoes need to be simple.
ReplyDeleteI agree that #3 go well, but I like #2 better. I do like that vest, it reminds me of some of the embroidered cardigans I had in the nineties. I love the color. When I was in high school, my sister, who was ten years older than me, would give me clothes...remember gauchos? I had a gauchos and vest set in that color green, but I was a ninth grader, it was way too old for me...:)
ReplyDeleteThat vest is stunning!!!! And I think the pretty and traditional number 3 shoes would go the best. This is always fun, my friend!
ReplyDeleteIt's pretty! I think I would choose #1 this time.
ReplyDeleteThe vest is over the top for me--maybe a bit of embroidery on one shoulder. The shoes are too high!!!!
ReplyDeleteI would choose #2. Beautiful vest. ❤️
ReplyDeleteI like #3. I think it calls for a traditional shoe.
ReplyDeleteThis is so much fun, I choose shoe #3.
ReplyDeleteI love the style of Boot #1, but I think #2 is a better match for her vest. Fun!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love the vest, Terri. I'll stick with the classic #3, too.
ReplyDeleteI love the vest but who is that skinny? Number 3.
ReplyDelete#3
ReplyDeleteI like the vest and would have worn it once upon a time. I'm with you on the shoe choice, definitely the third option, one reason is that I can't see the point of boots with the toes cut out (number 1)! But I do like number 2 as well, they're very pretty.
ReplyDeleteThe vest is BEAUTIFUL. I love to wear vests in the winter. As for the shoes, I'll go with your choice of #3: a simple design that does not compete with the busy design on the vest.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely #3 - but yes with a MUCH lower heel lol.
