After work yesterday, I went to lunch with neighbors Bill and Dee. We went to Saigon Bistro, at Lakeside Village. An artist was finishing a mural around the corner from the restaurant. It says BLOOM and is quite beautiful. The artist is up in the bucket and that's Dee standing there talking with the artist. There are murals all around Lakeland and it is always fun seeing a new one.
This is where something got in the wall, in my bedroom, and woke
me up at 3:00 in the morning!! Cats, raccoons, possums

squirrels? Who knows. No more of that!!
I am treating Shirley to lunch today, for an early birthday celebration. She will be 88 on September 4th. We always treat each other to a birthday lunch. She loves shrimp so we are going to Fish City Grill. Good fun and good food! I do have fasting labs first thing this morning. That means I'll grab some breakfast through a drive-thru on the way to work.
My snowbird neighbors from Wisconsin, Marlene and Duane, are selling their house. If any of you have been thinking about retiring to Florida, I can highly recommend the neighbor you would have if you lived next door!! Let me know if you want more information. It's a two-bedroom, 2 bath, well-maintained home. It already has the critter screening around it!! Asking $124,900.
Happy weekend!!
Praise the Lord! His mercy is more!
Stronger than darkness, new every morn,
Our sins they are many, His mercy is more!

I love murals like that!
ReplyDeleteGlad you will have no more critter issues. :)
I think when they advertise the house next door, the wonderful neighbor could be included in the good points of the house!
Such a pretty mural. Lots of good colors.
ReplyDeleteGood to know there's no more animal destruction. It's probably rats, mice and/or squirrels. Outside cats would keep those in check. Our JRT's are good little ratters. Sam eats them after a capture.
I hope your new neighbors will be good ones like the ones that are leaving. Hope it sells soon.
Have a blessed day. 💙
That mural is just, 'wow'!!! Gosh, I'd no idea critters could do so much damage. Now, at least, you'll have peace of mind about what DOESN'T go bump in the night! That sure sounds like a reasonable asking price for Marlene and Duane's home. If only I had a money tree in the back yard, lol!
ReplyDeleteThe mural is gorgeous. I know you will rest better knowing the home repairs and screening are up...literally:)
ReplyDeleteHave a great day.
That mural is fantastic - so bright and happy. I would buy that house in a second if I could live the kids here. Hard to do it. I had squirrels in the attic at the house. Many times, and very expensive to fix. I am so glad you got it done! It is hard to know an animal is right above or beside you!
ReplyDeleteThose before pictures beneath your mobile home are a bit frightening, Terri. I know you'll be glad to have it all repaired and sealed up for the future. The mural is outstanding!
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
We had to have some serious under-the-house work done in 2013 as we were selling a house in Colorado. Your pictures reminded me of that. I'm glad I can forget about it now. I trust your repairs will go well and the problems will be a thing of the past for you!!
