Whimsical Fashion Fun...

There isn't a linky and there aren't any rules.
Check out the dress and pick the shoes you like best for her.
It is all for fun and just a whimsical thing!
Photos are from the Storybook of Dreams and Beauty.

This sweet dress made me think of proms (back in my day, anyway).  None of the shoes would be comfortable for a night of dancing but count down 1-2-3 and tell us which one you like best for the dress!  It's all for fun and just a whimsical thing!

My thoughts:  I went to the prom three times.  My boyfriend when I was a Sophomore, was a Junior so I got to go that year, and my Junior year, and again my Senior year.  High heels were always a problem for me because I am so tall that there weren't many guys taller, without me wearing a heel. LOL  So none of these would have been on my feet, but for the model, I'll pick pair #1 because they would be the easiest to kick off!  LOL  What are your thoughts?

Peace and Hugs!

Bravely posting my prom picture from my sophomore year.  Archie was my steady.  He lived down the street from us and played drums in the band.  It was all for fun and friendship.  No love.  I saw on Facebook many years ago that he died after a long illness.  He was married and had grandchildren.  I lost track after he graduated and went into the military.

  1. Our school didn't have proms, we had a Junior Senior banquet. We still dressed up in fancy dresses for it.
The shoes are a tough call this time. I think they would all hurt my feet! :)
    I think I would also choose #1.

  6. I think Blogger didn't like what I said about current promwear (cause my comment went 'poof'!). Anyway, I like #3.

  8. How neat to have a photo of you dressed for the prom! We really dressed up back then. I guess I'll choose #1 too. Very sweet dress.

  9. Definitely #1. And I love seeing your prom picture. Maybe we should all get brave enough to post ours. I also went three years. Our sophomore year our class was the "entertainment", and I was in the program, so got to attend the prom first in a costume as a "Harem Girl", for the theme "Nights of Arabia", but then after the entertainment we changed into our prom dresses for the rest of the time. It was a lot of fun. I still have that costume too, but can't get into it anymore of course. My mother made it for me, as also my prom dress. Oh, you have stirred up some memories for sure!! LOL.
