My Thoughts: I really like the dress and would have worn it before I grew flabby arm wings! LOL The lace is actually gorgeous. As for the shoes, they are FLAT!! but they all have ankle straps. I'll pick #1 for the model but would have to cut off the ankle strap. What are your thoughts?
I agree with all your thoughts! None of those shoes would work for me. I need arch support.

ReplyDeleteYeah, LOVE the dress. I would have worn it in my salad days. I like shoes #3 but would have to cut off the ankle straps. I remember trying to wear things like that in my 20s and they are too painful. I'd be hobbling in about 5 minutes. LOL

ReplyDeleteHave to admit, OCD me was fretting about her not having any pink in the dress and having to walk around with those flowers all day to complement her shoes. LOL.
Pretty pretty dress. I like #1 too. But angkle straps, nope! I already have a fear of falling and breaking an ankle without assistants! Sigh....this old age stuff, er eh....I mean golden years it sure ain't for no sisssies.

That's a beautiful lace dress! I love it. But the shoes...well...none of those would work for me either. Maybe #2, but way too flat and no ankle straps for me either. Gosh, why can't someone invent a perfect shoe for us "mature ladies" to wear with a pretty dress? And yeah, I hear you about those flabby arm wings...I inherited mine from my paternal grandmother. LOL. I will tell her about it someday when I see her again in heaven! LOL. Have a great rest of your week.

ReplyDeleteAs for the shoes, I don't like ankle straps at all, but like you the pink #1 is my favorite and I'd cut off the candle straps, too.
I like the number 1 shoes. I wonder how those ankle straps feel though. All 3 pairs have them.
