    1. Actually, I don't anymore (that was during my other life). I did go online to zillow.com and found it. Look for 219 Ashland Ave., Huron, Ohio. Our street deadended at Lakel Erie. It was COLD there.

  3. I loved Ronald Reagan, too! I'll bet seeing Herb Alpert perform in person was a thrill. Don't recall seeing Old Yeller; the book was traumatizing enough.

  5. I remember seeing Old Yeller and crying my eyes out. I, too, loved Ronald Reagan - he's the reason I awakened from my liberal stupor and began to see the world from a conservative point of view. I owe that man a lot!
    Blessings, Terri!

    1. I was traumatized by the movie Old Yeller. I cried all the way home. Reagan was an amazing man.

  6. I agree w/ you, Terri, on favorite politician: Ronald Reagan. Who would have thought a handsome movie actor could serve our country so well as President?

  7. Old Yeller is a very sad movie. Wouldn't want to watch it again. The first movie I remember is "the Lady and The Tramp". And I begged and begged for a rubber "Lady" doggy that squeaked, and my parents got it for me for my 5th birthday after we saw that movie. I kept it until the rubber cracked and it quit squeaking. LOL. I loved Ozzie and Harriet and Ricky Nelson too. And Of course I remember Captain Kangaroo. But I loved watching I Love Lucy even more. My first baby doll was named "Little Ricky". Reagan was amazing. I don't remember many politicians before him, but my parents like Eisenhower but didn't like Truman and they didn't like John Kennedy. But we all felt awful when he died. That was the beginning of the end for this country if you ask me. Something really changed when he was assassinated...and they still won't tell the truth about it. I loved the Beatles too and had their first album. Wish I still had it. Can't believe I let it slip away. Your first house sounds nice, but I know it was cold up there on Lake Erie. Right in the snow belt. Funny you lived on Ashland Ave. We lived in Ashland, OH, where hubby went to seminary. I enjoyed reading your answers!!

  9. I pulled up the questions from Sunday Stealing and planned to answer them but I couldn't think of answers for several. Of course, after reading your answers, I remembered quite a few things. I, too, loved Shirley Temple and Captain Kangaroo!
