Monday's Weekend Recap...

Let's see...

Backing up to Thursday, we had in-person Bible study at our church in the morning, then we had haircut appointments mid-afternoon, and dinner out with our neighbor friends at Fish City Grill. The food is always good there. I had a catfish and shrimp duo.

On Friday, Joe and I both had our four-month check-up with our primary care physician.  We are so happy that she will schedule us both at the same time.  She was very happy with our lab results. We both got good reports!

Saturday was laundry and cleaning day for me.  Cheryl and Helen came by after dinner time for a little visit.  Their electricity went out and they just decided to get out of the house for a while.  It was on again by the time they got home but we enjoyed seeing them.

Yesterday we went to church.  I don't have a number but it was as full as last Sunday with over 100 people in attendance.  It feels good!!  We had t-bone steak, baked potatoes, and corn for dinner.  Harvey's had a great price on beef last week!  We don't usually splurge on t-bone steak!

We have nothing on the calendar today!  Yay!!

  3. Always good to get that approval from the doctor after labs. Today is marvin's birthday so we are eating out this evening. That is always fun. Carrot Cake for the bday boy.

  4. What a wonderful weekend you had, Terri! We don't get steaks, either, unless Danny can find an awesome deal. They sure are tasty, aren't they?
    Blessings!

  8. Haven't had a steak for a little while, but the last ones we had were ribeyes, our favorite! Which reminds me, I think I have some in the freezer from when they were on sale...hmmm, might need to get them out and eat them! LOL. Glad your church is doing so well. We had a few more yesterday, and because we still have to social distance we can't really hold too many more at a time, so if they come we will have to start a 2nd service. I wish we could move back into the sanctuary, but the hierarchy of our denomination has requested that churches continue to stay distanced and wear masks, so we do... I am going to Bible study this afternoon, and looking forward to it. My lab work showed that I have to go back on cholesterol meds, so I have, but I'm not happy about it. Also have to watch my diet... Such is life! Take care and have a great week.
