So Tell Me....
This week's questions come from Sparky! I hope you enjoy doing them.
Let's talk about you .....
1. Music. What kind of music do you enjoy? I listen to oldies (60s/70s), Prime Country, Smokey's Motown channel, and some 40s on SiriusXM, in the car. Are you musical? Not anymore.
2. Travel. Where have we been? What's your favorite destination(s)? Home is my favorite place to be, but Joe and I loved our trip to Italy. It's always nice to visit family.
3. Occupations. Did you end up working at what you wanted to be? Do you wish you'd done something else? If so, what? etc. At one time, I wanted to be an art teacher. Instead, I ended my career working for 20 years in an art museum. It was a win/win for me!!
4. How do you keep from being bored? I'm retired!! I have wonderful friends, a comfortable home, two cats, a computer, a cell phone, and a 55" TV. I am rarely bored. There is always something to do!! I really enjoy Happy Color on my phone!

I enjoyed your answers, Terri. Wishing you a beautiful day.
ReplyDeleteFab answers!
ReplyDeleteHome is my favourite place to be too and you always seem to be busy, no chance of being bored.
I love being home, too! There isn't much music I listen to anymore except at church!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you got to finish your career in art. I knew you worked in an art museum, but I didn't know you had wanted to work in art before that. I love your taste in music! There is so many different types of music I enjoy. I am glad you got to enjoy Italy! I know that is a great memory for you. I don't know how anyone gets bored. Loved your answers! Have a nice week.

I pretty much enjoy all types of music. Lately I am enjoying classical music - like where was this all my life? Then there's music that makes you want to cut a rug...or clean the house to. Different moods, different music.
ReplyDeleteHome is where I like to be as well and making it a sanctuary of peace and enjoyment. There's truly no place like home.
I love the music we Boomers grew up with, Terri, along with country/Christian tunes, too. I guess growing up singing and playing guitar made me a fan of many different genres. And like you, I'm never, ever bored. There's always something to do and more time to do it when we're retired. Have a great week, my friend!
ReplyDeleteWorking in an art museum? That sounds exciting (even a bit exotic!) So glad you are enjoying a full life these days!! I have heard/read many say how much they loved a visit/vacation to Italy. I really need to look into that more! Happy Tuesday to you -
ReplyDeleteSince we have Sirius XM I've listened to lots of music I hadn't heard in many years, if ever. I have decided that 60's music is pretty much the best. I switch back and forth between that and Symphony and also our radio station Air1 - praise and worship music.
ReplyDeleteI really can't understand how/why in this day and age, some people say they're "bored." Your fav music sounds good. We'd never argue about what channel to choose on a road trip!
ReplyDeleteTerri, I would say you have a wonderful life!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your answers. I enjoyed your answers.
