Happy Friday, friends! They do seem to roll around faster than fast some weeks!
I'll adjust the focus back to Wednesday. I had a great lunch with my friend, Mali, at Metro Diner. Her office is moving next week to Bartow, the next town south of Lakeland. We will have to plan lunches ahead of time going forward. I neglected to take a picture, but here is one I uploaded from her Facebook! (Mali is Danon's wife, my former boss at FWC.)
Yesterday was Bible study with our Pastor. Later, I had dinner with Tim and Judy at Olive Garden. Larry is back in the hospital (prayers, please), and Sandy is fighting a bad cold. John and Ginny are still away, so it was just the three of us. When we finished our dinner, it was pouring rain. We sat for a bit inside the door until it slowed enough to make it to the car without getting too wet. I did take these two photos. (Of course, Judy's eyes are closed.)
On one of our morning walks this week, we saw this dangerous-looking ceramic reptile climbing up the palm tree!! Had to snap the picture!! (Isn't he cute?)
I mentioned previously that I have been 'coloring' with an app on my phone. I do one picture a day and always of cats (who would have guessed?!). Here are a few that I've done recently. The app is called "Happy Color". (Thanks, Mari!!)

ReplyDeleteWe had a big storm last night and had to hang out in the basement for awhile because of tornado warnings. No damage though and the rain made the plants happy.
I'm still doing happy color too!
I have a lizard like that--I should give it a refreshing paint job! I'm glad for the rain, too.

ReplyDeleteI love your cat colorings. Even one of them had a Blackie in there with some Sunshine cats! So sweet. I 'm glad you are getting out and about with so many good friends. Life is never dull with you, that's for sure! Hey, guess what? It's raining here too! Praise GOD!!!!
