Simple Questions
Welcome to Toni Taddeo's Tuesday 4. I hope you are enjoying these questions. Let me know if they can be improved, and if you have any ideas for subjects!
Here are just 4 simple questions for you this week...
1. Do you have any superstitious beliefs? No.
2. How often do you check the weather? Where do you get your weather reports? I only check the weather if I am going somewhere. It's pretty much a given here in Florida. During hurricane season, I pay a little closer attention. Alexa gives me good reports, and so does the local weather station.
3. What time of your life was the happiest, and why do you think that was? I had a very happy and loving childhood, but my happiest time was married to Joe (36 years). How could life improve for you now? I am so very blessed right now.
4. What things would you ordain to make everyday life happier, kinder, and more prosperous, for everyone? Just for everyone to be happier, kinder, and to find and keep faith in God. Prosperity follows all of that.
Good morning starshine
The earth says "hello"
You twinkle above us
We twinkle below
Good morning starshine
You lead us along
My love and me as we sing
Our early morning singing song
(Who remembers the earworm refrain?)
Gliddy glup gloopy
Nibby nabby noopy la la la lo lo
Sabba sibby sabba
Nooby abba nabba le le lo lo
Tooby ooby walla nooby abba nabba
Early morning singing song
I check the weather a lot, usually on the app on my phone. We're at that stage where we can have snow one day and warm weather the next. Today it's snow flakes, going up to almost 70 degrees on Saturday, haha!
ReplyDeleteI am always checking the weather at the moment as it seems to change so much in one day.
ReplyDeleteI check the weather a lot. You never know what it's going to do here! :)
ReplyDeleteI never heard that earworm refrain!
I loved that song, Terri! Now, I'll probably be humming it the rest of the day. Danny is always checking the weather so I'm on top of what we can expect. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the song...I never saw the actual words to the refrain written down before. Did you figure those out all by yourself, or is that what the real words actually were? And who sang that song? I can't remember...now I have to go look it up. Thanks! I enjoyed your answers.
ReplyDeleteThat's the real words. I copied the lyrics, but I can sing it without the words!
DeleteWould you believe, I was just thinking about Oliver the other day! Love that feel-good song. Around the time it was popular, I saw him perform at the West Texas Fair. Some of the cowboys were jeering, "Get a hair-cut!" .... that made me so cross.
ReplyDeleteChecking the current temp and if the wind is blowing -- we do that most mornings around 7:30 as we decide #1 if we will ride our bikes, and #2 how warm/cool to dress. In the winter mornings, bike riding can get kinda cold; in the summer mornings, the wind flowing over our skin is usually a blessed relief. Riding against the wind can be a struggle, no matter what the temperature.
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed reading your answers, hope you're enjoying a great day.
ReplyDeleteI wish everyone knew God as well. I don't check the weather that much either Terri.
ReplyDeleteI have loved each decade I reached and the changing it brought to my life. I hope I can stay the course!
ReplyDeleteNice one!
