My friends arrived safely yesterday afternoon!! They even got through Atlanta in record time, early in the morning on a Sunday!! I only have one picture, so far, and it's of sweet Bella. She is happy to be out of the car, and so are Elaine and Jim!
My weekend was spent cleaning and grocery shopping. We had my rice, chicken, and broccoli casserole for dinner, and I had fresh strawberries and shortcake for our dessert. We have already discussed places to go, things to do, and where we can eat. This picture is from last year... There will be new ones from this year!! Elaine and I have been friends since we were 10/11. She is like a sister to me. Lots of history here.
Olympics: I am happy the USA won the gold for men's hockey (and the women!!). Loved the gold medal skate of Alysa Liu!! She was amazing! We are watching the closing ceremony (on replay). Nice.
