I thought of school uniforms when I first saw this, but let's just call it vintage fun!! I actually had a petticoat like that when I was 8 or 9. It was stiff and scratchy and I didn't like it! LOL Count down on the purses 1-2-3 and tell us which one you like best. It's all for fun!
My thoughts: By now, you know I love a vintage look. I might have worn this 50 years ago. I think I'll pick purse #2, but they would all work well. Those red gloves would make me crazy though! What are your thoughts?

ReplyDeleteWhat a fun and nostalgic exercise! The vintage vibe is lovely and brings back memories. For this outfit, I'd go with purse #2 as well—it complements the vintage style perfectly. The red gloves do seem a bit intense, but they definitely add a bold pop of color!

I'm going with #1 today. I love #2's shape -- but because her skirt's brown, I don't care for the black on that bag. (I know, picky-picky - hahaha!)

ReplyDeleteOh, this is so cute. I remember the plaid wool skirts, but never had one that required a petticoat like that. I think mine were usually pleated skirts. I do remember the petticoats, however, and yes, they were scratchy and difficult to sit down in! I will choose purse #1 today, because the red matches the shoes and hat better than the others in my opinion, although I know colors aren't always showing true here. And the gloves seem a bit out of place with this outfit...maybe if it was with a fall jacket/long sleeves they would look better. But I love the vintage look. I wouldn't mind having a fall/winter outfit similar to that again. Probably wouldn't ever have a chance to wear it here in Florida, however, even though it does get chilly... Oh, Because He lives is one of my favorite songs. "And life is worth the living, just because He lives!" Amen!!!
