Tuesday 4...

Thanks to Annie for today's Tuesday 4 questions!  You can join in HERE!

A Little Tea Party

Welcome back to another of Toni Taddeo's Tuesday 4.
For my southern friends... I pray the weather lightens up on you all.  I know it's been a very rough summer heat wise.  Let's pray together for a solution.

This week, could we talk about your personal thoughts?

1. Do you find yourself daydreaming about your situation and things you would love to do if only...?  I don't daydream much, if at all.

2. If you are having tea/coffee, a little break in the day does your mind wander off to other thoughts and meditations. No.

3. Do you find yourself meditating or revisiting in your mind a scripture, verse from a book you've read and it's impact on you?  No, again.  Update:  Yes to scriptures that come to mind often, depending on what's happening at the moment.  I also repeat movie dialog now and then, like "there's no place like home" or "you don't want the truth"...

4.  Do you find yourself sometimes replaying conversations with others?   Are there books or movies that stay vivid in your mind?  Not often.  Nothing comes to mind. I'm afraid my answers this week are dull and boring!!  I don't meditate.  I don't daydream. Yes, there are books and movies that I love and have read and/or watched more than once, but I don't daydream about them.  Maybe Nancy Drew, when I was a tween but not anymore.  I'm an old fuddy-duddy realist, perhaps.  Old being the keyword,

Peace and Hugs!

O Lord my God, when I in awesome wonder
consider all the worlds Thy hands have made

  1. Old is my key word...been on my mind a lot lately...maybe it's just the heat and humidity that is playing with my brain, LOL--perhaps my brain is overloaded, LOL.

Have a beautiful day my friend.

  3. My mind can too easily wander, Terri, especially when I'm feeling stressed. Recalling scripture is so helpful for me, too. Have a great day!

  4. I enjoyed reading your answers and I would never consider you a fuddy duddy!

  5. I love the last line in the movie Shadow Riders - Tom Selleck says, "Let's go home." Yep, that's a good one. Hope you're having a great day!

  6. Hardly a 'fuddy duddy"! I could sure benefit from being more of a realist and less a) dream-weaver or b), fretter. Movie lines? Another manager (at my former workplace) and I often dropped lines from shows/songs in response to something the GM would say. They went right over her head (bless her heart).

Now I'm humming, "How great thou art!"
