How is it Thursday already?!!!
There isn't a linky and there are no rules.
Check out the dress and choose the shoes you like best.
It's all for fun and just a whimsical thing!
Photos are from the Storybook of Dreams and Beauty.
Okay, I would never have a place to wear this dress, nor could I wear it anyway. But, I saw it and was sorta blown away by how feminine and sweet it is. Count down on the shoes, 1-2-3, and tell us which ones she should choose to wear. It's all for fun and just a whimsical thing!!
My thoughts: As I wrote above, I don't have any place to wear a gown like this. Maybe I could have carried it off 50 years ago but not since! LOL As for the shoes, I'll go with pair #1. Tell us what you think!!
My kind of shoes...
No guilt in life, no fear in death
This is the power of Christ in me
From life’s first cry to final breath
Jesus commands my destiny
No power of hell, no scheme of man
Can ever pluck me from His hand
Till He returns or calls me home
Here in the power of Christ I’ll stand
I would have worn something like that in my 20s, but not these days. I will go with #1.
ReplyDeleteOh my! It's pretty and so are the shoes, but I couldn't wear any of it. :) I choose #1 too.
ReplyDeleteI saw your clip of your kind of shoes and thought - now those are what I would wear, even before I saw what you wrote.
Have a great day Terri!
Melania Trump could certainly wear this dress, Terri. I'm with you on shoe #1.
ReplyDeleteWow, that is a beautiful fairytale princess dress! I love it, but of course would have no place to wear it even if I could! And yes, shoe #1 would have to be the one, although I'd like it with a little lower heel. I wonder where people DO wear dresses like that nowadays? Even prom dresses are skinny and basically indecent these days. When we were young, we wore dresses more like this one, just not as fancy. I love the full skirts, even though they are impractical, they are lovely. Yes, I agree with what Martha Jane said above about Melania Trump being able to wear it.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, your picture of your shoes would be totally me! LOL.
Have a lovely day.
That is a wonderful dress. Your blog looks so happy today and bright. I will go with you - number one for me.
ReplyDeleteI think #1 is perfect!
ReplyDeleteI like #2.
ReplyDeleteI'm normally not fond of open-toe shoes, but there's just something about #2 that grabs my fancy.
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful dress and I'd go for shoes #1 too.
