*Have you tried anything new this year? I went out on a shock boat with one of our
fisheries biologists, to count fish one day at work. The shock just stuns the fish so
they come to the surface and can be counted. This bass went right back into the water!!
*What would you do if you don’t have wifi for a week? Read, visit friends, sleep!
*Do you like summer, why or why not? Summer in Florida is hot and humid so it is
my least favorite time of year here.
*What’s one restaurant that you like in your city? What food do they sell? We have
so many good restaurants here in Lakeland. Shell's for seafood, Gosh for Asian, and
Il Forno for Italian. Can't leave out Tapatios for Mexican.
*Do you prefer a digital book or a real paper book? Digital. Love my Kindle.
*What’s one thing that you are interested to buy, but it’s a bit expensive, so you
haven’t bought it yet? New flooring for the entire house.
*What tea brands do you like? Luzianne for iced tea. Earl Gray for hot tea.
*What’s one food that you can binge eat a lot? Pasta.
*Write one random thing that happened to you this month. I caught a cold. First cold
since before Covid.
*How many long-term pen pals do you have right now? (people who penpal with
you for more than 3 years) I think of my blogging friends as penpals and I have known
some of my blogging friends since 2007 and have met 15 or so in person! I do have a
pen pal and we mail cards and notes to each other. She is my great-great-niece and is
five years old.
*If you own a small food trailer, what food do you want to sell? pasta
*What’s one handmade gift that you received and really liked? I have many hand-made
gifts that I love. My mom was a crafter and so is my sister, Tammy. My mom made
jewelry and I have several pieces she made.
*What’s your ideal Saturday like? Going to Punta Gorda for lunch with my grandkids!
*What things do you like to buy on Etsy? I don't shop on Etsy.
*What kind of Asian food do you like? Pho!!
Peace & Hugs!
I’m fighting a battle that You’ve already won
No matter what comes my way, I will overcome
I don’t know what You’re doing, but I know what You’ve done
I’m fighting a battle You’ve already won
Finally, I started feeling better yesterday. I am not going to church today because I still have coughing spells. At least I feel pretty confident that I can go back to work tomorrow. Thanks for the prayers!!

Glad to hear you are on the mend. We have been having wicked colds here in my neck of the woods..
ReplyDeleteI feel like bloggers are like pen pals too. I try to be one to my 11 year old grandson too. So the shocking doesn't hurt the fish? Get well.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a fun day at work. I believe I would like that job. I am thankful that you are feeling better.
ReplyDeleteSpring/Summer colds are the pits, Terri...so sorry. I hope you get to feeling better soon. smiles
ReplyDeleteA shock boat, now that sounds like an adventure!! Enjoyed reading your answers and I agree, Luzianne is the best!! I want/need new flooring too, {{sigh}}, maybe some day.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad the worst of your cold is behind you. Pasta. I'd love to have some. As for books, I prefer a paperback because I love to underline and make notes and scribbles in the margins.
ReplyDeleteHope this new week is full of health and joy.
I never knew that about shocking the waters! I'm loving that picture of my happy friend with the bass. Nope, I'm no fan of summer ... I don't recall the heat bothering me when I was young, but now. I'm enduring, not enjoying.
ReplyDeletePS - Fun Qn'A's today; I may still participate this evening.
So glad you hear you're beginning to feel better, Terri. Good idea to stay home from church so others won't feel you are contagious. Danny is the lover of pasta in this house, although I do like it from time to time.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
Glad you're feeling better but don't overdo it tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteGlad you are feeling better. Enjoyed your answers!!
