I'm back among the living this week, so I have a few photos to share today!!
When I was off work last week with this nasty cold, I missed attending the luncheon at our Regional office to celebrate administrative staff. They do it every year and always have a nice gift for us to take home. I was bummed that I couldn't go. I don't get to the Regional Office very often. My boss went and he brought my gift back to the office for me. I got it on Monday this week! I wore it to work yesterday because we had another cookout luncheon at our Derby Lake Pavillion. It was a combination of lunch and a meeting with staff from the Welcome Center/Shooting Range. We have a new manager there and we have a new youth camp director at our Education Center. It was good getting the three areas together for food and a chat.
I made my baked beans and took them in the crock pot.
Others contributed condiments, potato salad, and cole slaw.
PS: Happy 50th Anniversary to my
dear friends, Elaine & Jim!!

Congratulations to Maya!!

ReplyDeleteSorry you missed that lunch. The shirt is cute! I'm so glad you are feeling better and were able to go to your own lunch.
Speaking of cute - Maya is too!
Congrats to Maya..She is a cutie. Love the T-shirt. I'd love to see that view when at the bank. I'm so glad you are feeling better this week. Take care and have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteThe tee shirt and note sure are special. I'm glad you are feeling better now too. Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteHappy 50th Anniversary to Elaine and Jim! Congratulations! And also congratulations to Maya! She's growing up!! Love the t-shirt and the nice note attached. So sorry you had to miss the luncheon, but it's great your boss made sure you got your gift anyway. The other luncheon you had sounds really nice and good too! I am glad you are feeling better and able to get back out among the "living", instead of feeling like the "walking dead". LOL. Take care and stay cool and dry. We are getting LOTS of rain finally! Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Maya!! The luncheon sounded nice and glad you are better!
ReplyDeleteWay to go, Maya! That appreciation 't' and note were so thoughtful; little things mean a lot, don't they? Pretty soon you'll be able to put your feet up and rest. Yay!
