15. Do you have any funny pet stories?
At our other house, here in Lakeland, we had a pool with a diving board.  Amber kitty used to sleep on the diving board, in the sun.  She never fell in, but Onyx kitty took a misstep on the board one time and fell right in.  Joe saw it happen and said that Onyx practically walked on water and jumped right out!  Cats are good swimmers but most of them don't like the water. We never worried about them being around the pool.

Peace & hugs!!

  1. That's quite a funny story about the cat in the pool! Would love to have seen that video! Glad you are able to get to church today. We won't be going again this week, and at least 1/2 of our church will be out sick. This bug has been making its rounds up here for sure. Hope you have a peaceful and relaxing day!! And yes, that Barb sure is amazing!!!!

  2. Pillars Of The Earth was, or is, a good book. I skip over the racy parts but it's really a good read historically speaking. The sequel "World Without End" is equally good as is the prequel "A Column Of Fire".
The cat falling in the water had me laughing. *snicker* Poor kitty.
PB&J! Before I gave up carb's, that was mine too, and also whatever cereal was in the cabinet. No wonder I was fat. *wink*
    Love & Prayers xx

    1. Yes, I have read that entire series and they are all excellent, but I have read Pillars four or five times.

  3. I loved the story about the kitties and the pool, Terri.:) Most of the time, when I'm writing or reading, I like it quiet, but I've certainly been known to concentrate fine when Danny is watching something on the computer while I'm working. It's good to be able to tune things out when we need to, isn't it?
    Blessings!

  6. Oh my word on Onyx's big splash! Was Joe prepared to go after him (her)? When the pups were 'new' Macie accidentally fell in our pool; Tom was looking the other way and might not have noticed had Grace not started barking furiously.

I'm intrigued at the thought of putting Christmas cards on canvas!

    1. Onyx was out of the pool before Joe could get up. I put photos on canvas, not Christmas cards. Sorry I didn't make that more clear. xo

  10. Spotted you on a mutual friends blog and thought I'd pop in to say hi. It's fun meeting new bloggers. Some similar answers to yours. Certainly pasta is my go too meal, so many different ways to prepare it.

  11. Cats often give us funny stories!
That Barb is much more adventurous than I am.
I'm a meal planner and have just been sitting here typing recipes. A friend and I are getting ready to teach a class at church on meal planning and freezer meals. :)

    1. I would attend your class if I lived closer! I am a terrible meal planner unless there is a holiday or company coming. Your attendees are in for some great information! I love your recipes! xo

  12. Getting caught up here, Terri. Thanks for the kudos on Question #13. That adventure was a true departure from who I've been up until now. I'm not sure who I am any more!!!
