Stolen from How Far Will You Go?

1.  What was the warmest welcome you’ve ever received?  I have received lots of warm welcomes in my life.  Most recently it was at my new job.  They are already my 'family'.

2.  What was the best thing about your youth?  Growing up in a very small town.

3.  Who is the most interesting person you’ve ever met.  My Joe.

4.  What is the least you’ve ever worn in public?  I had a bikini (almost a bikini) when I was 15/16.

5. What was the worst vacation you ever took?  I've never had a bad vacation.

6.  What room in your home do you spend the most time in?  Living room.

7.  Who made the strongest first impression on you?  My Joe.  Always my Joe!

8.  What was the most surprising action you’ve ever taken.  Moving to Florida without jobs!

9.  When was your life most out of control?  When I was married to my first husband.

10.  What would you be best at, were you to change careers?   I'm not even going to try to answer this.  I am 70 years old and am way beyond changing careers.

11.  What is the cruelest thing a person has ever said to you?  Several things my first husband said to me but I won't repeat them here, in writing.  Just know his words were cruel.

12.  What is the best thing you ever won as a prize?  I rarely win things but I did score well in a few music contests, playing my horn.  How about this one...  my name is in the newspaper and I did better than Judy Zollinger who was a year ahead of me!!  Later, in high school, Judy was much better than me and Mike Hopkins was better than both of us.  Bob Zollinger went on to play football in high school.

13, What is your strongest argument against capital punishment? I think capital punishment has a place in our judicial system so I won't argue against it.

14.  What have you been most ignorant about in life?  Oh, so many things.

15. Where would you most hate to be pierced?  Let's don't even go there. I don't need to answer this question. Past my two earlobes, any other place.

Peace & hugs!
Jesus loves us!!

  2. Good answers! I try not to think about the mean things people have said to me in the past. And you were so good at the trumpet! Well done!

  4. So you can bake a wicked cake, you're filled with musical talent, wowza! My kids get all of their musical gifts from Paul, I can't even read the notes, much less "hear" when something is off. It all sounds good to me, I am their #1 fan! I think it's amazing, heartwarming, and fantastic that you've gotten a job with such nice people. And, I'm sorry that your first husband was so awful to you.

  5. Piercings anywhere but the earlobes must be uncomfortable, certainly not my thing. So glad you were blessed with Joe after a bad first husband. I often wonder what makes someone so rude, crude and ugly. You got passed that and now you have sweet memories of a good guy.

    1. Yes, indeed, I was so blessed by Joe. Mary, my first was a Vietnam veteran and came back from there a totally different person from when I first met him. It was a hard 10 years.

  6. Gee, I don't even have pierced ears! I know, I'm a strange girl! LOL. Just never did it when it was popular to do so as a teen (my mother would never allow it), and then never really cared about it, although it is hard to find decent earrings that don't hurt my earlobes. But I manage. The least of my worries! LOL. You are very talented! I cannot play any instrument, but thankfully I can sing, although not as well as I used to be able to do. Don't do solos much anymore. I would love to hear you play! My hubby used to play the Tuba in the band! I wish I could've seen that! But that was before me! I am so glad you have a great place to work now and that they treat you so well! What a blessing! And I know you are a blessing to THEM! Hope you are having a wonderful SONday!

  7. Fun Q-and-A! I (almost) played along, but Mother Nature had other ideas -- I just yelled at the weather radio to "Shut Up!" Anyway. I, too, have no argument against capital punishment; too, in 2002 I picked up and moved to Arizona sans friends or a job. These days I wouldn't dare!

  8. Ha! You so often make me laugh. I am only pierced in the ears too, and that's enough for me.
I'm sorry for the hard days and cruel works in your first marriage, and so thankful God brought you and your sweet Joe together!
