I am happy to report that Karen's husband let me know yesterday, around 3:00 p.m., that Karen's surgery was over. The doctor told him it went well, as expected, and that he could see her soon in the recovery room. Praise God. Now the hard stuff starts, though, because it will be a rough recovery for her. Prayers for strength and endurance are appreciated!
I wish you a good Friday and a wonderful weekend! I think we will try to make it to the Farmers' Market in the morning.... not too early, but early for us on a Saturday. I also hope we can make it to church this weekend, now that our colds are behind us and the coughing has subsided some.
