Prayers & Praise!

I am continuing with Prayer & Praise Friday and want my visitors to know your requests for prayer are honored seven days a week.  Unspoken needs are always included and don't we all enjoy stories of prayers answered?! Thanks for your visit!!

“Prayer can truly change your life, for it turns your attention away from yourself, and directs your mind and your heart toward the Lord. If we look only at ourselves, with our own limitations and sins, we quickly give way to sadness and discouragement. But if we keep our eyes fixed on the Lord, then our hearts are filled with hope.” (John Paul II)

I wrote in an earlier post that my dear friend, Karen, came through her surgery and was blessed with good news from lab results. Thanks to everyone who has her on prayer lists!! I am getting text messages from her, now, instead of her husband, so I think each day finds her feeling better. She specifically asked me to thank all the Prayer Warriors. She has felt the love. Hoping to hear soon that she is headed home where she can hopefully heal faster. Thank you, God, for the answered prayers!

Wishing everyone a good weekend! Thanks again for coming by.  Peace & hugs.

  5. So glad to hear your friend continues to improve. My mother-in-law is recovering well from cancer operation. She has had lots of people praying for her - one friend is currently volunteering in a convent in Ethiopia so we noted she had a whole convent praying for her.
