When I woke up yesterday morning, this is what I found on top of me!! Onyx is nearly always on me or on my pillow (and he is doing much better, though still not eating well), but the big deal is, Vinny was sleeping on me! He is still hesitant about coming in our room, because of Lilly and Lucy. This is a giant leap for him!!
My sister, Tammy, and her husband, Bruce, are planning a trip down next month, and our son, Joey and wife Darlene will be down toward the end of the month!! February will be a wonderful family month for us!!
The dining room is filling up with bedroom and office stuff. I haven't started purging yet, but have another week to get things sorted through as we start to put things away, after the floors are in. Sigh. Poor Joe has done so much heavy lifting without me.
My hair is really short now. The new barber who is cutting my hair, until Teena is able to come back to work, really took off a lot of hair! He happens to be Teena's son, by the way. He gave me a great cut, but I am needing a few days to get used to it. At least six people have told me how much they like it shorter, though. Hmmmmm....
I think that is five tidbits for this Friday!! Thanks for stopping by, and have a great Friday!! Peace, love & hugs!

Cute picture of the cats! Our cat comes into our room when our daughter isn't home, otherwise he stays with her.
ReplyDeleteThe breakfast talk sounds interesting.
You'll have to share a picture of the haircut. It's always harder to get used to a new cut on yourself, but I bet it looks cute!
Yay for Vinny getting braver. No pic of shoter haircut? I'm sure it looks great, just will take time to get used to it. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteSo happy to hear Onyx is feeling better and Vinny is getting braver! I love the picture...so cute! Sounds like you are going to have a wonderful February!! Family visits are the best! Have a wonderful weekend, Terri!
ReplyDeleteAww kitties! Your pictures make me miss having a cat. I grew up with cats, but Marc doesn't want another one.
ReplyDeleteMy Cali would sleep on my head, and has in past, but he now sleeps in the utility room, on top of the fridge out there..likes it up high I guess. I would be interested in seeing the video when it is available. I know your haircut looks good, cause you are like me....short is best. Hope you have a good weekend, and not work so much you hurt your back.
ReplyDeleteI will come back in just a second to read your post. I just came from blog friend, Arlene's, blog and want to share the link with you. Her husband is having knee replacement and I thought you would want to read her post. http://arlenegrimm.blogspot.com/2014/01/getting-ready.html
ReplyDeleteThanks, Mildred. I'll check it out!
DeleteLove the cat picture. Thankful that Onyx is better. Your haircut will easy to manage..I would like that. Hope you have a nice day.
ReplyDeleteThings won't really improve until O'Blammer is out of office or in handcuffs (I vote for both). Janet Yellen is worse than Helicopter Ben and, get this, thinks that inflation is good for the country!!?? She's evil too or incredibly stupid. These people hate us, they hate prosperity. Until they're gone, it'll be the Same 'Ol Same 'Ol.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know y'all had cats! They're very pretty. We used to have three of them but now only have dogs.
Hope your knee is feeling better today. God bless. ~:)
We have FIVE cats. Photos can be found in my photo tab up at the top of my page!!
DeleteHmm..on the economic forecast. ANYWAYS--love the photos. Thanks for making me smile. Blessings (ps love your new background here)
ReplyDeleteI might be interested in watching that video... it's good news that the economy is recovering.
ReplyDeleteYour kitties look very content. That's cute. Hope you have a good evening.
Terri, I want to see your new haircut!
ReplyDeleteKitties are so cute.
xo
Sheila
i love my hair cut off super short and really must go to have it done soon.
ReplyDeleteThat's such a sweet photo of the boys. You've probably mentioned this before, but I was wondering how old Onyx was.
Brenda, Onyx will be 14 this year (14, in 2014). He should still have a few more years with us, if we can keep him healthy!
DeleteAll my friends up here bemoan 2013 but are feeling good things are coming again in 14. I sure hope they are right.
ReplyDeleteYour February sounds great - I love that month too. And I bet your hair is cute. I sure hope the economy gets better!!
