- I am back at work (on my lunch hour). The cold is better, but the back is not. I see the chiropractor again tomorrow. Three times is my limit. Not sure what I can do if he can't fix it.
- Tons to catch up on at work. Tons (probably not really, but feels like it!).
- We are having new floors put in our three bedrooms. I need to paint two of them, though, before the new floors come. We will finally have all the carpet GONE in the house. We are getting a vinyl flooring that comes in planks and looks (and feels) like wood. I love it.
- The back needs to heal before I can even think about paining. Joe is not the painter, I am.
- We are invited to a friend's 65th birthday dinner on Thursday evening. Joe can't go, but I'm not going to miss it! He has his FICPA meeting. This is with our little dinner group. We were at Mike and Mary Ellen's on December 26th. This one will be at Ernest & Luisa's house and is for Fran's birthday. That puts us in queue for hosting the next dinner party! We always have a good time with this gang!
Thanks for stopping by and leaving a message!!
Wishing you a good Tuesday!!

{Praying} for healing.--I love to paint, hubby does not. If I was there, I would do it for you, really I would. The only stitch of carpeting we have is here in the 3rd bedroom/office. We have real wood floors which are painted upstairs, downstairs, natural. ANYWAYS..I have seen those floors, I like them. I do no like carpeting..prob because we have a German Shep. who sheds, lolol. Blessings

DeletePraying you feel better soon. We are painting our bathrooms....not a favorite chore for me!
ReplyDeleteHopefully your chiropractor will get you relief and you won't need to continue seeing him.
ReplyDeleteThe new flooring sounds so nice. I'd love to do that to my office here. This carpet makes me cringe. Hate it.
You have a good evening.
I would love hardwood or hardwood looking floors through out this whole house, but it will never be. I sure hope you can get some relief on your back, and wont even consider surgery until a last resort. Praying for help.
ReplyDeletePraying that your back is healed. I don't want you to be in pain.

What do you mean three times is the limit on your back? And can you send me a picture and the name of that flooring - we need to do that so bad!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSandy, my co-pay is atrocious now. Three visits has cost me $195 in two weeks. I just can't keep going back like they want me to.
DeleteThe flooring guy took the sample back with him, after he measured for us, but I'll get it to you and take a picture when we get it put in. It is by Aberdeen and is Vinyl Plank Flooring. I forget the number we ordered, though.
As you probably know nobody here, at least that I know of, has carpeting in their house. It's marble flooring, wooden or tile. Can't wait to see your new floors. Years ago one of my sisters in Kentucky and the one in Ohio choose the exact same patterned vinyl flooring for their kitchens and neither one of them had discussed their choice beforehand. The floor is beautiful; it looks like a stone floor. The good thing is that you can't see dirt on it too well, but the bad thing is it's not easy sometimes to find things you've dropped or spilled like water.
ReplyDeleteI sure wish there was a miracle cure for bad backs.
I'm glad the cold is improving, but praying that your back does too. I hope you post pictures of that flooring - I like the sound of it.
ReplyDeleteI love to paint too. It's cheap therapy and makes the room(s) look so nice afterwards. Can't wait to see pics of the rooms.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear the chiropractor is not helping. You're kinda going the route I took that led me to years of unnecessary pain and pain killers. I would like to humbly suggest immediately seeing a competant neurologist that will hopefully order a CT Scan, MRI and any other medical procedure to get to the root of the problem. If he doesn't, go to someone else. I hope you won't suffer for years like I did. I'm healed now (Praise God), but no telling what damage I've suffered internally from the pain killers. I'm also weak on the right side because I my muscles have atrophied. Keep us posted and hope it's all good news. Good luck! ~:)
Sorry to hear your back is still hurting. Hope it feels better.
ReplyDeleteWe have carpeting. I hate it. Eventually we will get it replaced. Can't wait to see your new floors.
I'm jealous of the floors after looking at some pics online. So, so sorry about your back though. It would be worth finding the best back doctor available to make sure it is not a problem the chiropractor can't fix. I went through back issues that were the result of my knee problem. Physical therapy did more for me than the chiropractor - - - and I love mine. His family are active members of our church. However, I needed to have muscle strengthening exercises to keep the adjustments in place. Sure wish the two practices (chiro & PT) could combine.
ReplyDeleteThose dinner parties are really something to look forward to. I'll bet they're lots of fun. Hope your back feels better soon.
ReplyDeleteI don't want to do the work anymore but our house needs painting too inside and out and new flooring laid. sigh....I would just like to sell it and let the new owners remodel.
