- Many of you are posting photos of your weather, so I thought I would join in and show you a shot of our beautiful Lake Mirror and our downtown area. It's COLD for us (high 40s) but the sun is shining!! We have lived here almost 25 years. I love Lakeland, FL. Love it.
- I am getting caught up at work, but it always amazes me how much mail and paper piles up when I am out for just a week! Working through it, though.
- I'm glad it is Friday!! I think we are going out for Cuban food tonight. Yum. "The diet" will begin again on January 6. I'm getting psyched for it....
- My back does feel better today. I can stand up, after sitting for awhile, and the pain doesn't make me catch my breath, like it has been doing. I think a visit on Monday will do it for me!!
- No big plans for the weekend yet, other than church, laundry, cleaning, and getting the outside Christmas decorations taken down and stored away. Joe has been doing that a little at a time, between rain storms. It is lovely (but cold!) out today, so maybe he will have it done when I get home from work.

ReplyDeleteLakeland does look like a wonderful city to live in, and when you tell all that you do, and see, I am certain that it is a nice place. Glad you are getting caught up at work and same for the weekend at home. We are settling in for 2-3 months of staying inside and keeping warm!

ReplyDeleteI know just what you mean about 40 degrees being COLD. Here too. And yet, seems you have had more sunshine than we....just yesterday the dreary cloud cover that we had for weeks, finally broke and a cloudless sky!!! Beautiful!!!

The lake is beautiful. I'm jealous. I wish I could move south, but that's not going to happen for me. I literally hate this cold weather with a passion! My body hurts.

Looks so pretty and peaceful. We've had mild weather mostly, so can't complain. Looking at the temps in Ohio, though puts a chill on my bones.....must be muscle memory or something ;)
