Tuesday Thoughts....

  • It is raining again, just in time to go home from work.
  • I am tired this afternoon.
  • I don't know what to make for dinner. I promised to cook all week, but I would sure like to go out tonight. I am tired this afternoon.  Did I mention that already? ;)
  • I have an eye appointment in September. Last year, the prescription didn't change much. I think it has changed this year. I need new glasses, I'm sure of it.
  • The internet has been going off, then on, then off all day today. I know it's the rain. Hard to get work done, when the internet keeps going down. I didn't get a lunch hour today, so am taking a break to do my blog.
  • I am happy for the Royal Family and their new baby!!  What a blessing!  Diana would have been so happy and proud! I still miss her.
  • Did I mention that I am tired?  It's the weather, I think. I woke up with a sinus headache and that kind of set the pace for me today.  Could be a lot worse, though!
I think I'll stop there, before I do yet another "I am tired" bullet point!  Hope your day has been better than mine! On to tomorrow!!  Hump day, here we come!  Have a good evening! Peace, love & hugs.

  1. Sorry you are so tired and I know the headache does not help. We were w/o power/internet last night for several hours due to storms. Take it easy and try to get some rest and feel better.

  2. Any leftovers in fridge? how about tomato soup and grilled cheese? That is always my 'go to' when I cant think of anything else...you need to eat and then kick your shoes off and rest. If you go out to eat, you wont rest. Hugs

    1. But we did go out - to our favorite Chinese restaurant. No cooking and no dishes to wash. It is much more restful for me. Home - jammies on and feet up! Ahhhhhhh

  3. Sorry to hear that you're tired. Waking up like that always sets the tone for the day. It does for me too. I hate that. I'm sure the weather is doing that to you.
Hope you can rest well tonight. Take care.

    1. Waiting is awful! I agree with you completely. When you make up your mind to get something done, you want it done now - not in a month! Hope they contact you soon!

  5. Terri I hope you get a chance to rest up this evening and you sleep well and better rested tomorrow. Those days make it tough to get through when you are tired like that. Hope you feel better soon. :)

  8. It was a rainy day here too..I was dragging all day..lol. Did you end up going out for dinner? I hope so because it is no fun being stuck in the kitchen when you are tired. I'm happy for the Royal family too. They seem like such an awesome couple.

  9. Several people have complained about sinus problems recently, including me. I can't criticize anyone for not cooking as I've just brought home a roast chicken. Chinese food is quite healthy if you don't use too much soy sauce. I'm always complaining in our Chinese about the salads being too salty.

Terri and everyone there who suffer from blackouts, do your insurance companies or the electric companies pay for all the spoilt food?

  10. No, Brenda, not for general power outages. I think if a hurricane comes through and causes damage, you could claim lost food, etc., but deductibles are so high for hurricane coverage, it probably wouldn't matter.
