Monday, Monday, Monday....
A busy day.
Work was crazy, after being off only two days, but it is year-end - let the fun begin.
I had my visit with the surgeon today, for my breast surgery. Tentatively scheduled for August 13th. She is going on vacation, and I can't do it this month, because of the audit. I have to have an EKG, blood work and an MRI before the surgery, so some of that is scheduled for this coming Monday. I'm waiting for the times. They will be looking at both breasts during the MRI, and she said that I most likely will have to have another ultrasound, too. They also need to implant a seed, to guide the surgery. I was a little disconcerted to hear that there is still a 25% chance that they will find cancer. I need to think about the 75% chance that there is no cancer. She said that if they DO find cancer, it will be considered Stage 0 (zero) and will not be anything to worry about. Easy to say. 75%, 75%, 75%!! (Please keep me on your prayer lists.)
Joey, Darlene and the pups left just after noon. They have arrived safely in Florence, SC, for the night. Needless to say, the cats have reclaimed the house. We are enjoying Tristan's company and are happy to have him for the week! Blessed!
That's all for tonight. Thank you for checking in!! Wishing you a good Tuesday! Peace, love & hugs.

You will for sure be in my thoughts and prayers sweet Terri. Hope and pray they find no cancer and the surgery goes well. Work on keeping those positive thoughts sweet friend. Hugs
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Maggie!
DeleteTerri - I must have missed something - I knew we were praying for your mammogram - did you get results? And what kind of results warrant this surgery - what kind of surgery? I have never heard of this before. I will be praying. Hugs. sandie
ReplyDeleteSandy, they found an atypical pappilary lesion, which CAN be pre-cancerous, so it has to come out. I had the biopsy last week. You must have missed a blog or two when I talked about it. No need to worry, but prayers appreciated!
DeleteHope Chatty sees your reply. Meg (barefoot meg from multiply) was complaining about this very thing on google the other day.
ReplyDeleteThe cats must be very happy now that the pups have gone. Hope your Monday ended well. I'm always saying 'I bet' even though I'm not a gambler. I do try to keep positive and prayer always helps. I know you'll keep that in mind.
Thanks Brenda. Yes, I do need to stay positive, and will. The cats are very happy to have "their" house back. Yes, indeed!
