Friday, the 13th, has never been a bad day for me. I really don't believe in superstitions. How about you?
Looking back over this week, I don't have any photos to share. I planned to take a picture with Cheryl and Pat when we had lunch on Monday, at the Purple Onion, in downtown Lakeland. That didn't happen. Totally forgot. They are heading back home this weekend. I'm sorry I don't have a picture, but I'm glad we got another chance to visit before they leave Lakeland. I did get this picture a few weeks ago when we met for lunch at The Metro Diner.
Last night, the Mas Verde 'gang' had dinner at Glory Days. There were nine of us this week, and it was a fun group. The food was great. I didn't hear anyone complaining. I also didn't get a photo.
Today I have a doctor's appointment, checking on a new medication I had some concerns about. No big deal. I also need to spend some time in the pantry and refrigerators, cleaning out, organizing, and making a grocery list with my coming guests in mind!! Happy tasks!
Tomorrow I am going to the Community Theater with Cheryl to see Jesus Christ Superstar. That will be fun. Maybe I'll get a picture or two, if I think about it.
Thanks for your visit today! Happy Valentine's Day to you all!!
O is for the only one I see
V is very, very extraordinary
E is even more than anyone that you adore can

We used to have a group that got together every year to watch Jesus Christ Superstar sometime before Easter. I think I need to pull that DVD out again! lol
ReplyDeleteSounds like it has been a busy week for you and hope they can get the meds figured out with no issues.
Happy Friday the 13th....my ONLY superstition. lol. xo Diana
Enjoy the show and have a happy Valentine's Day Terri!
ReplyDeleteI didn't even realize it was Friday the 13th until I read this. I'm not worried about it either.
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a nice week and hope the weekend is fun. I plan to go out with Heather tomorrow - it's her 40th birthday!
I'm not superstitious whatsoever, Terri. In fact, we're meeting up with some friends for lunch today. Have a great time at the performance!
ReplyDeleteI don't believe in superstitions usually but I am not a big fan of Friday the 13th!
ReplyDeleteAhh! Don't worry about the photo, think of it like you were living in the moment and enjoying the company. What a fun meal out last night with it being 9 of yous.
Have a great weekend and enjoy the theatre!
I'm not superstitious either. I love Friday the 13th! At least you had a current photo to share. It's a nice picture! Have fun tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteI am not superstitious either. My dad was born on a Friday the 13th. I am glad your medicine checked out - I am experiencing that myself.
ReplyDeleteLike you, I'm not superstitious. As a matter of fact, I read a library book recently about the true story of 6 men who floated in the South Pacific for 3 weeks before being rescued (a WWII story). They were rescued on a Friday the 13th. One of them said it was a special day of blessing for him, and he was right!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend! Love to you, precious friend!
I love your Pal-entine!! I haven't really thought about it being Friday, the 13th.
ReplyDeleteDear Terri, I don't believe in superstition. I have always called it Stupidstition. LOL
ReplyDeleteHappy Valentines Day 💝 💓 to you, dear friend.
My husband and I had our first date on a Friday the 13th, so I don't consider it unlucky at all. Have a wonderful weekend, Terri!
ReplyDeleteI am not superstitious at all, but I must say Friday the 13th's don't go unnoticed by me since I lost my dad on one of those.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the weekend.
Glad the dr appt went well. I am not making friends with the new med I am on!
ReplyDeleteGlad you got to spend some time with Cheryl and her hubby and family while they were here. And also glad you got to go with the Mas Verde group for supper. Friday the 13th is just another day on the calendar. No big deal. Hope the new med works out okay or if not, good to let the dr. know how you feel. I hope you have fun at the Community Theater...I guess that's today! How was it? Have a blessed rest of your weekend. I am running behind in reading.
ReplyDeleteHappy Day-After-Valentine's!!! Hope you have a cozy Sunday, my friend!
