Inquiring Minds Want to Know
Hello! You are so welcome here at Toni Taddeo's Tuesday 4.
I hope you are enjoying the questions and the chance to blog about your likes, dislikes, and opinions, and find out about those of other people. Be sure to visit around. That is part of the fun.
Let's inquire about stuff....
1. What gets your blood boiling? Stupidity.
2. What does a really good day look like for you? What makes you say, "That was a great day"? That depends on so many factors. A great day can be one with nothing to do but relax, or it can be full of activity, or it can be time alone or time with family and friends. It just depends. I don't have very many days that aren't good/great. Count those blessings!!
3. Are you continuing to grow mentally, spiritually, talent-wise, or are you just marking time? I think I am continuing to grow in all of those areas. I don't ever want to be just marking time!!
4. Have you changed your hairstyle since high school? Why or why not? This is so funny!! I'll let you decide. It was only 56 years ago!
Psalm 118:24 "This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it."
Oh, I love that picture of you...your high school pic reminds me of mine. Did you sleep on orange juice cans to get that smooth flip? I did. My hair wasn't as curly as yours but I had lots of cowlicks and waves that didn't want to go the way I wanted them to. We sure tortured ourselves to be "in style". That was before blow dryers! "We've come a long way, baby"....LOL. I like your hair now! Cool and easy!! You look great!
ReplyDeletePam, I didn't use juice cans. I had those hard plastic pink rollers that werre the same size as a juice can. Those, big bobbypins, and Dippity Do. I slept in them!!
DeleteI really love that photo of you, smiles (both of them). Yes, stupidity gets me too, LOL. Have a great day, Terri.
ReplyDeleteThat made me smile that you don't have many days that aren't good/great. I feel lucky that I can say that too, there are minor things which irk me but on the whole my days are good.
ReplyDeleteI love your high school photo!
I think having a good attitude leads to good days! And I know that you do. :)
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures of then and now. You look great in both!
Both pictures of you are great!!! Life is all about attitude, I truly believe our own way of thinking is what makes life good or bad. It's always our choice. Of course knowing God holds us close is a BIG help.
ReplyDeleteThe pics are both beautiful! A good day has to be each day ...
ReplyDeleteSuch great photos of then and now, Terri! And yes, as Mari said, any day is made better if we have the right attitude. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteLove both pictures! I probably say this each time I see it - there was a girl named Alice in my high school class who looked just like you! Exact same hair too. Is your hair naturally curly? Did you have to work to straighten it back then?
ReplyDeleteI worked very hard to tame my crazy hair. Dippity Do, large rollers, and I actually ironed it on the ironing board. I've always hated my hair and have now just resigned myself to it. It is what it is! LOL
DeleteGreat answers! Love your photo, then and now.
ReplyDeleteYour high school photo ... wow. I'd have been so envious of that shiny hair and perfect flip. Nevertheless, your smiling "now" image prompts me to grin right back.
ReplyDeleteStupidity is a great answer. Only this morning I was venting to Tom at the many FB-ers asking stupid questions. Have they never heard of Google ... or the Encyclopedia. (Oops, showing my age!)
I love your pictures! That is exactly what I was wanting to do...share both. Loved your answers! Have a great week.

Cute photos of you. I love your hair in high school and that perfect flip.
ReplyDeleteI think you are a pretty steady person. You can have a good time no matter what you do.
ReplyDeleteI love your hair - I have never had hair that long in my life. Even in high school.
I've always heard that "when you stop growing, you begin to die." I want to keep growing all of my life! It sounds like you do, too!! Cute photos!!
