I got my house cleaned earlier in the week, after removing the old blinds and breaking down all the cardboard boxes to put in the recycle bin. Felt good to get that done!
Last night, the Mas Verde dinner group went to Glory Days for dinner, and there were nine of us!! John and Ginny hadn't joined us in a while. Bob and Sandy had other plans, so we missed them. I took a photo, and then the waiter snapped a picture from the other end of the table to get me included!!
L-R: Paul, Anne, Sharon, Larry, John, Ginny, Judy, and part of Tim...
Now you can see Tim, and me at the end of the table...
Speaking of good neighbors, today I am off to St. Petersburg with Susan and Sandy! A girls' day out to Mazzaro's Italian Market. Neither of them has been to Mazzaro's, so I am excited to introduce two more friends to one of my favorite places to visit. I've only been there once since Joe died in 2021. It was one of his favorite places to go, too. I'll have more about that on Monday!!
I am meeting up with my friend, Mali, on Saturday for a late lunch/early supper, before going to a book launch event. It sounds interesting. She is a friend of Mali's, so I'm looking forward to it. I'm also looking forward to catching up with Mali. It's been too long since we got together.

Looks like a fun group to go out with!
ReplyDeleteI remember you and Joe going to the Italian Market, you'll enjoy going there with your friends.
Have fun tomorrow too!
How wonderful to meet regularly with friends/neighbors! Looking forward hearing about your trip to St Pete!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great photo of your group of friends and neighbors, Terri! Sounds like you are having a great week. Let us know all about the book launch, too. God bless!
ReplyDeleteWonderful photo, Terri! I was just thinking (out of the blue) about Mazzaro's the other day ... ya, I'm a bit envious. While entrepreneurship's no longer in my wheelhouse, this book launch sounds interesting. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteCape Coral had a similar market... what an interesting place. More pasta than I ever heard about and the cheeses...have fun. :)
ReplyDeleteAlways enjoy pictures of the Mas Verde group enjoying a great time together. Hope all have a good time visiting Mazzaro's Italian Market, sure sounds great to me. Hope all the events you have planned are enjoyed by all. Happy Weekend☺♥
ReplyDeleteYou have sung the praises of Mazzaro's in the past. I look forward to what you have to say about it next week. It was featured on a TV news spot earlier this summer. Looks like a great place to visit.
ReplyDeleteIt is such a good feeling getting your house cleaned after changing things.
ReplyDeleteWhat fab photos of you and your friends out at dinner. I hope you have a great day out today and weekend! The book launch event sounds interesting.
