I promised photos of my newly painted kitchen. Sheri finished it on Wednesday, and I cleaned it up and put it back together yesterday. My kitchen is a galley kitchen that opens up to a seating area and my laundry closet. It works great and has twice as much cupboard space as my old kitchen. I also have a walk-in pantry that sold this house for me. Hard to get photos, but I am so happy with the London Fog gray (the walls were white before). It makes the white cupboards pop. It looks better in person...
Looking from the dining room into the kitchen.
Last week I wrote about choosing my new glasses. These are the frames I asked total strangers in the waiting room to choose for me. They differ from my last pair, but I'm getting used to them. I wanted something different.

Oh, your kitchen looks so nice, Terri! I Love it! You really have a nice big kitchen/dining area! That is wonderful to have with all the entertaining you do! And I do love your new glasses! They are different, but very cool looking! Oh I love "Sweet Hour of Prayer"!
ReplyDelete3 Sweet hour of prayer! sweet hour of prayer!
thy wings shall my petition bear
to him whose truth and faithfulness
engage the waiting soul to bless.
And since he bids me seek his face,
believe his word, and trust his grace,
I'll cast on him my every care,
and wait for thee, sweet hour of prayer!
Have a lovely day and weekend!!
I love the grey walls. So beautiful! I also love the glasses and that strangers helped you pick them. The last pair I bought, I sent pictures to both my daughters in Florida of me trying on several different pairs and they picked mine. So fun. Hope you have a wonderful day and Sweet Hour of prayer is so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThe kitchen looks so nice! I like your cheery curtains too.
ReplyDeleteLove the glasses too! Mine are the same shape but are metal.
The new kitchen is so pretty! What a friend to help you painting! I have a friend like that! The new glasses are very smart!
ReplyDeleteI do love the color of your walls, Terri, and the new specs are fabulous, too. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteLove your kitchen! The London Fog walls contrast beautifully with the white cabinetry and yellow drapes! VERY nice! As you know, I have been in your kitchen, and I love the food your produce in it!
ReplyDeleteYou need to bring Gary and come down again!
DeleteI absolutely love your glasses - they are so cool and becoming.
ReplyDeleteI also love the London Fog with the white.
I love your kitchen too.
You have a beautiful home!
I love the whole look, Terri! Especially those two black/white art photography pieces. Oh, and the buttercream drapes!
ReplyDeleteTwo thumbs up on the eyeglass frames. I've a similar pair of sunshades that I love; I think they make a good contrast against my (too) white hair and complexion.
Pinhole photography by Rebecca Sexton Larson. Her photos are amazing!! https://www.sextonlarson.com/bio
DeleteI love your kitchen paint! The yellow curtains are perfect against the grey! I also like your new glasses!!
ReplyDeleteThe kitchen looks lovely Terri. As for choosing glasses, such a difficult thing to do if you can't see clearly without them. Your new ones look great.
ReplyDeleteI love the paint and the yellow curtain combination!!!
