Hodgepodge Questions-Volume 504
2. Would you rather have a chauffeur, nanny, gardener, maid, personal shopper or cook? Maid. Tell us why that one? I like to drive. I don't need a nanny. My yard is too small to worry about gardening. I could care less about shopping. I like to cook and I dislike cleaning with a passion.
3. May 18th is National Notebook Day. No idea what that means but let's run with it anyway. What's something you currently keep in a notebook? A manual at work but nothing at home. Have you seen the movie The Notebook? Yes, a few times. On a scale of 1-5 how does it rate? (5=a favorite, can watch and re-watch and re-watch again) I would give it a 4.5. I have watched it a few times and own the DVD. It is a beautiful story and is also heart-breaking.
4. Do you like mushrooms? Yes!! Last dish you made or ate that had mushrooms on the ingredient list? I did a beef stir-fry earlier this week and added mushrooms. Your favorite dish that calls for mushrooms? Fried mushrooms from Mr. Fish. They are SO GOOD!
5. What would you say is the most annoying thing people do in public? LOL - get in my way!! I can be so impatient.
6. Insert your own random thought here. My co-worker, Paolo, is leaving FWC and is going to work for Hillsboro County. I am so sad he is leaving but he is pursuing a career and is only in his early 30s so off he goes. I will be taking over some of his tasks, temporarily, and got some training for it yesterday. It is not anything hard. We are having a cook-out luncheon for him tomorrow.

Good answers! I want a maid, as well! lol

Yes,,,, a maid as well.. :)
ReplyDeleteSeveral have mentioned fried mushrooms and stuffed mushrooms. I like them all ways. The Notebook is so sad and I think that's why I only gave it a 3. It leaves me feeling a little blue when it's over. Have a great day Terri!
ReplyDeleteI am super impatient as well and hate when people get in my way; I dislike thinking that they aren't thinking of how they can be considerate at all!
ReplyDeleteI've never tried fried mushrooms, but my taste buds are interested! Because I loved the book (The Notebook) -- and the movie people changed up the ending, I became super annoyed. And stayed that way for a long time. Isn't that silly?
ReplyDeleteI didn't read the book but I did read all of the Outlander books and quit watching the TV shows because they changed so much. I know books are always better but there are some things you just can't change! Gone With The Wind... Scarlet has four kids in the book but only Bonnie in the movie, but that part of the movie followed the book. Off my soapbox.
DeleteI am surprised by all the evilness in the world too. I do not understand.
ReplyDeleteI would ALSO love a cook - ☺
And I love mushrooms unless they are raw!
#2 ~ If I'm ever alone I would like a cook/chef. Thankfully, Steve cooks to perfection so I won't starve. *lol* I'm the one that doesn't mind cleaning. xx
ReplyDeleteWe had a maid for a while, but she was very inconsistent about showing up when she was scheduled to, so we had to let her go. I want another one as housecleaning is at the bottom of likable chores. Mushrooms? I love them! Once in a while, Danny will serve sauteed mushrooms on toast. That's to die for!
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Terri!
I want a maid too! :) I am a fan of mushrooms too. So good!
ReplyDeleteAnd people get in my way too, patience is not my strong suit!
It sounds like you will miss Paolo! I'm always happy when a co-worker gets a better job but sad when they leave!!
