Tuesday 4
Inquiring Minds Wanna Know...
Hello! You are so welcome here at Toni Taddeo's Tuesday 4. I hope you enjoy the questions and the chance to blog about your likes, dislikes, and opinions and learn about those of other people. Be sure to visit around. That is part of the fun.
Let's inquire about stuff...
1. What gets your blood to boiling? People who are unkind, especially to children, the elderly, and animals.
2. What does a really good day look like for you? What makes you say, "That was a great day"? At 70 years old, every day is a good day! It's good when traffic is lite on the way to work. It's good when there is nothing on my calendar and I can sleep in and have a slower day. Paydays are always good! Getting together with friends or family always makes a good day!
3. Are you continuing to grow mentally, spiritually, and talent-wise or just marking time? I hope I never just mark time. Still working keeps me growing mentally. I am still growing spiritually and love my church and church family. Talent-wise... not so much.
4. Have you changed your hairstyle since high school? Yep! Why or why not? I got tired of fighting the curls and have just given in. My senior picture - big rollers and Dippity Do.
Then...
Dippity Do... oh what a flash back!! You were beautiful then, and just as beautiful now!! Happy Tuesday!
ReplyDeleteBoy that was a flashback....indeed... Dippity do.. And then that hair dryer with the plastic bonnet. :)
ReplyDeleteI remember my mom setting my hair with Dippity Do and rollers. So glad that's not a thing anymore! I'm with you on "marking time." If that's all I'm doing I may as well not be here. I hope I never end up doing that. Enjoyed your answers, Terri, and loved seeing your senior pic! Enjoy the rest of your week!
ReplyDeleteMost people have to get perms to have pretty curls like yours! I need a haircut! lol Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteWow you had a perfect flip! BTW house of us with board straight hair would love curls!
ReplyDeleteYes to #1! I love your pictures! Loved your answers!
ReplyDeleteHave a nice week.

Wow. Your senior pic could have been on the cover of Seventeen magazine! I understand what you mean about a good day -- simple pleasures are the best!
ReplyDeleteI think your curly hair looks really good on you!
ReplyDeleteDippity Do! I'd almost forgotten about that - I don't exactly remember ever using it (or having it used on my hair) but I do remember it in my mom's bathroom!!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your answers and your photos. It was fun hearing about Dippity Do again. That was so popular when I was young.
ReplyDeleteI love your senior picture, so lovely. I also love your answers, each day is a good day when we're thankful.
ReplyDeleteI still use some Dippity Do. I found it at TJ MAxx and bought a bunch of jars and some of their shampoo. It makes my hair a bit thicker and easier to maintain. What a great senior photo but yes, those hair styles took some work didn't they. Thanks so much for always joining in!
ReplyDeleteI love your answers....your HS and now photos are both beautiful!
ReplyDeleteFortunately, I missed the Dippity Do years, but it was just in time for straight as a board parted down the middle. That is a little hard for VERY curly, wavy and frizzy hair. I would have loved the flat irons we have today. You rocked the curl though!!!
ReplyDeleteYou have aged beautifully, both with your appearance and in attitudes!
ReplyDeleteBut of course, rare is the woman who has not changed her hair style since high school, unless they graduated in 2022!
