1. What is the nearest book to you? Your Kindle does not count. There are several art books in a stack here in the living room.
2. When was the last time you took a "me" vacation? I have never taken a "me" vacation.
3. How many telephone numbers do you have? Just one now.
4. If you could fix one thing in the public school system, what is the one thing you would do immediately? Teachers would get a huge raise.
5. What's your favorite Olympic event? Figure skating (Winter Olympics).
6. Do you watch the Olympics? Yes, but I pick and choose the events.
7. Who is your favorite sports team player? I don't have a favorite..
8. If you could travel in a spaceship to any planet, which planet would you like to visit and why? I am a homebody. Y'all go ahead and visit another planet. I'll keep the lights on here.
9. When was the last time you sat in a church? Last Sunday I sat in church with my blogging friend, Barb and today I am sitting in my church.
10. Are there any aspects of blogging that annoy you? Nope.
11. Have you ever gone to a party and snooped in the medicine cabinet? Nope.
12. Do you watch reality TV? Just the term makes me laugh. I hope everyone knows that anything dubbed "reality" is really just as rehearsed as any other TV show.
13. How many people can you call who have known you since you were in school? Gosh, more than 25. I have a big family and lots of friends from school who I am still in touch with.
14. Who, when, and where was your first kiss? It is really sad that I don't remember. I guess that tells you that it was not so memorable!! LOL
15. You just got thrown out of your country. Where do you want to become a citizen? If I got thrown out of my country, I doubt any other country would want me either. It would have to be one where the people speak English.

Seems like this summer Olympics were a dud for me...maybe the time difference, it seems I was always coming across the bizarre sports I never had heard of before.. Prefer winter ones especially skating.
ReplyDeleteI have so many books stacked here and there, Terri, I don't even know where to begin. :) And yes, I'll leave going to space for other folks.
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
I'd have to go where people speak English...most people here can barely understand me! I have a serious Southern drawl! Enjoy your Sunday sweet lady!
ReplyDeleteI'd have to go where people speak English too.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
Terri, enjoyed your responses. I, too, would want to go where English is spoken. Have a blessed Sunday.
ReplyDeleteLOLOLOL. on the last one, yeppers. LOL--I hope you have a beautiful day friend.
ReplyDeleteThe annoying thing about blogging for me is when Blogspot changes their format. I am still mad about the change in the photo loading.lol
ReplyDeleteYes. I should have remembered to say they should stop messing with what works (and now doesn't!!)!
DeleteGirl, I'm right there with you -- feet firmly planted on Planet Earth. Being a winter-lover, I'd probably relocate to Canada -- where I can throw kisses across the border to family and family. xo
ReplyDeleteI pick and choose the events I watch during the Olympics too. I enjoy the ones I watch very much.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you on 12! It is so fake. That is why I do not watch. Loved your answers! Have a nice day!

#15 - Go to one of 'dem Mexican resort towns. I've got Ex-pat friends who live in those areas. Very cheap. Speaking Spanish is optional. They love it. Can't own a gun, though, that would be a big NO for me.
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed your answers.
Blessings. xx
“Me” vacation: I took myself to a quaint town several weeks ago in anticipation of taking friends and family there at another time, just to check it out. Had a good time. I’m a pretty good companion to myself. I go where I want, stay as long (or as little as I want), I pay the bill and I don't argue with myself.
ReplyDeleteWell said, Barb! There is certainly a new freedom experienced lately for both of us. It can even be a bit heady!
DeleteGood answers! I'm taking one day away this week to go to Amish country with my sister. Does that count as a me vacation?
ReplyDeleteI would need an english speaking country too.
I think your day away with your sister certainly counts.
DeleteI went to a "Mary Retreat" at our church camp one time...there was no agenda...just a weekend to relax, read, meditate on the Lord, eat good food, pray, do whatever you felt like doing, Oh, and they had a masseuse there for us ladies. I had my first ever real massage! I did take a lady from our church with me, and met some of my friends there. But that's what a "me" vacation should be all about..."Mary", as in Mary and Martha in the Bible...Mary was the one who sat at Jesus' feet and worshiped Him. It was memorable. I wouldn't mind doing that again.
ReplyDeleteI love America and it seems a lot of people around the world like it too. I really can't think of another country I would want to live in. It would have to be one where they speak English. At my age, I don't have it in me to learn another language.
ReplyDeleteI don't like it when they mess with Blogger and make me learn something new:)
I have watched the Olympics and surprisingly none of that junk that took up the news cycle has really been all that prominent. I think many have been very humble and patriotic. We have been sucked in by the media and their click bait once again...well, me not as much because I have just quit watching more than just a wee bit to stay informed.
