I took some photos yesterday at my "new" office. Over the last month, my office has been moved from the back of the building to a larger space that used to be where the public came in to pay the fees and get their passes for whichever lake they wanted to fish (or path to hike...). There are some personnel changes coming up and my boss wants a conference room beside his office. The person currently occupying that space will be moved into my old office. I am quite pleased with my new digs. I can clearly see everyone coming and going now. Please bear in mind that the building is old and the paneling is everywhere!!
My desk...
No news from Darlene yet. She can't talk on the phone without coughing. I hope she and her mom are resting and taking the meds. Since I have the weekend now, I will be working in the den/office again and will also get some cleaning done that I've been putting off.
Thanks for your visit!!

First of all, praying for Darlene and her mom. I do hope they will pull through this quickly and soon be back to their normal routine, but in the meantime I pray for God's strength to be their strength, and praying for their healing. Now, I LOVE your "new" office and the fact that you are where you can see people coming and going, etc. That should make things more interesting and fun, I hope. You have such a beautiful place to work...God is so good to you! And wow! That was quick on the sale of Helen's house! Amazing! Praise God! I know you are glad to have that over and done with! Now just praying for Helen to be comfortable and happy where she is. I am sorry you couldn't travel this weekend, but sounds like you have some things to keep you busy. Have a blessed and pleasant weekend.
ReplyDeleteYour new office looks great, Terri, and is a good location to see others as they come and go.
ReplyDeleteSo happy that Helen's house sale went smoothly - that can be such a headache. I'll keep praying for Darlene and Cecelia, and of course, for you.
Blessings!
I am keeping Darlene and her mom in prayers. I pray for a swift recovery.
ReplyDeleteI love your new work location and this new office sounds just perfect for you Terri.
You need to have some kind of celebration for getting that sale done. I KNOW all of that can be so hard and still coming off all you have been through. You need to do something for yourself!
Glad you have settled into a new office...how fun! Hubby's office is all covered in that paneling too. lol Glad you are going to get to see all the comings and goings now. That can really help with keeping things more interesting. Hope you have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteA very nice office - everything is so handy. Hugs
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tour of your office. It looks very neat and tidy!!
ReplyDeleteYour office is very nice! What a good place to work and I know you are happy to have Helen's house taken care of! What a relief!
ReplyDeletePoor Darlene. She has had a rough year! She was the one with surgery about the time of Joe's illness? My guess is they have been to the doctor. If she has a continual cough, she needs a chest x-ray. That is usually a sign of pneumonia.
ReplyDeleteIn other news, I am so thankful that Helen's house has been finalized. I, too, like your new office. It is phenomenal to have a window. Enjoy your weekend!
A room with a view ... and lots of storage! Yay! My favorite office ever was all paneling, too. Prayers continuing for Darlene and Cecelia.
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday, my friend! xo
I really like your new office spot, Terri. Wood paneling and all! That wall of cabinets/drawers is super looking. Continued prayers for Darlene and Cecelia. Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeletePrayers for Darlene & Mom.
ReplyDeleteSuch a nice office. I always liked having a window whenever I worked. I hate feeling trapped inside. I really enjoyed the photos.
Blessings. xx
Channeling the Brady Bunch house Terri!! Oh well, paneling served its purpose. Glad you have some windows..I love natural light.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to see the office. I know being able to see outside and who is coming and going is a good thing. It helps to keep you from feeling closed in. I'm so thankful for this job for you!
ReplyDeleteGlad the house sale is done. Praying for Darlene and her mom!
Your new office looks nice. We have that paneling in our living room. lol A few years ago we finally painted over it. Have a great day!
