I have a couple of new photos to share and some from last weekend's trip to see Barbara (Sweet Tea & Sandals) in Ocala that I didn't post on Monday.
A Halloween display at one of the shops in Micanopy with Barb

I really liked this Christmas tree made out of wood!!
I REALLY like it and may have to see what I can find.
I don't think I showed you my new door wreath. I put it up with the flags for the 4th
but I like it so much, I kept the flags.
We have had so much rain that my front planter, which is supposed to be black mulch,
has started growing grass. I need to get some weed killer sprayed on.
And last... my Lucy is feeling SO much better now and has begun hanging out on the recliner with me. Not especially comfortable for me but she seems to like it.
I had a nice dinner out last night with Tim and Judy. We went to Miller's Ale House. I had Cajun chicken pasta and a salad. Delicious! Tonight I am meeting a former co-worker from the Museum, Marilyn, for dinner at Burger 21. Saturday, Judy is going with me to Punta Gorda to have lunch with my grandchildren, Lauren & Tristan. It will be nice having company for the two-hour drive.
Peace & hugs! Jesus loves us!!

I like the wooden Christmas tree too - different! Glad Lucy is feeling better - she is so pretty. you have so many dinner appointments, you will cetainly be full.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy each one. hugs xoxo
I like that tree, too, Terri. So happy that Lucy is feeling so much better, and that you have some fun activities planned for the weekend, especially getting to see your grands. :)
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
Halloween and Christmas already! Boy, time flies. I am trying to enjoy the summer as long as I can. It will be over before we know it. So glad Lucy is feeling better.
ReplyDeleteI love that Lucy has found a special spot. Gus lays on top of my lap often thinking he is small enough to do that. The things we do for our pets:)
ReplyDeleteI am glad you have someone to keep you company for your drive to see the grands.
So glad Lucy is better and my dog loves to lay in about the same place with me and her name is Lucy too. lol I really love your wreath. Hope you have fun with all your plans this weekend.
ReplyDeleteLucy is seeking comfort being next to you. How sweet. I'm so glad she's feeling better.
ReplyDeleteI pray you have an uneventful, pleasant drive to PG. That's good not to travel alone. More eyes to watch for trouble. Y'all be safe.
Blessings my friend. xx
Love the wreath....so patriotic. I am working on my 9-11 stitch finish today. Trying to find some of the small flags I have put away!
ReplyDeleteYour door wreath is so very pretty and cheerful!
ReplyDeleteSo that's what I look like when I shop! (ha-ha!)
Enjoy your trip to Punta Gorda. You've got some nice plans!
That 'tree' is pretty clever! Is it coming soon to a home near you (*grin*), or are you thinking of making one like it? So happy to hear Lucy's feeling better; my Grace like to lay the same way.
ReplyDeleteAfter finding some on ETSY I decided to visit Hobby Lobby for parts and pieces. LOL
DeleteSo glad about Lucy!! Hugs and Pets. I love the Halloween display - cant wait to add to my collection.
ReplyDeleteOh, I love that tree...I must have missed it! I don't recall seeing it. But then, there was SO much to look at, and I was just excited to be seeing you and Barbara, so to me it was all a blur! Oh, I am glad you are taking a friend with you to travel. That will be nice to have company, and also to see your family again. I hope you have a wonderful time. Gosh, has it been a week already since I saw you? (tomorrow). Time flies when you're having fun I guess! Have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteI just love that tree and I would love that shop too. Have a beautiful weekend, smiles
ReplyDeleteSo glad Lucy is doing well. Did I ever tell you my daughter Heather's cat is also Lucy?
ReplyDeleteYour wreath is pretty and I love that tree too!
