1. A person I’m glad to have in my life.  Joe, of course, but also so many others!

2. Something I find comfort in.  My faith and my home.

3. My favorite part of the morning.  My quiet devotion/prayer time.

4. My favorite memory.  I have so many that not just one sticks out as "favorite".

5. An accomplishment I’m proud of.  Getting my BA degree at age 50.

6. An opportunity I’m grateful for.  So many. I was grateful for the opportunity to work at Polk Museum of Art for 20+ years and then retire from there.

7. My favorite song (and why).  I don't have a "favorite" song but there are many I love.

8. A future event I’m excited about.  Never wearing a mask again!!!!!

9. My favorite area in my home.  The living room with my recliner and "nest".

10. Something beautiful I saw today/yesterdayA long line in the drive-thru at a new business in town. It is beautiful to see small businesses being supported by our community.

11. My guilty pleasure.  Ice cream.  And the long line was at Andy's Frozen Custard... and we were in that long line!

12. Something I love about a family member.  I love that Joe puts up with me!! I know it's not always easy.

13. A compliment that made me feel good.  Joe thanked me a while back for taking such good care of him.  His experience with the tooth extractions was terribly unpleasant.

14. The item I treasure the most.  Gosh, I have many treasures but the one I mention the most is my mom's t-shirt that I still wear and love.

15. My favorite part about nature.  Just the beauty all around us, all the time!

16. A book I loved reading.  Pillars of the Earth, by Ken Follett, is one.

17. A freedom I’m grateful for.   Freedom of religion.

18. My favorite part of the evening.  When chores are done and my feet are up!

19. One good thing that happened today.  Church!

20. How I show gratitude for my friends.  By being loyal and caring (I hope!) and offering hospitality at our house whenever possible.

Wishing you a good week ahead!

Thanks for stopping by!

Peace & hugs!  God bless you!

  1. I love how committed to one another you and Joe are. I am sure he does appreciate you very much. I appreciate you and your positive attitude and warm hospitality! Would love to live closer so we could enjoy each other's hospitality! Yes, I am also thankful for our freedom of religion and the ability to go to church again. Looking forward to do that this morning after I had to miss last week. It's been a LOOONNNNG week! :) Have a wonderfully blessed day my friend.

  3. Yes, one of the accomplishments of my life was getting the BA degree at age 53, smiles. Never too old to learn. I didn't do this one, I figured most of you knew what my answers would be anyways, smiles.
