We were at the farm (Joe's client) on Wednesday so I have farm pictures (big surprise!). We saw no cattle going in and no cattle going out this week so you get horses and a dog and the beautiful blue Floria sky...
Doc and Pistol were in the farthest pasture again this week. I walked to the corner and called them.
The arrow points to them as they started toward me.
Pistol & Doc...
Then I walked down to see Majesty and Vanna and gave them some treats too.
this one just after saying smile. I'm pretty sure Majesty understood me!!
Tex, one of the working dogs, was out of his Kennel and begging treats (which he got). I also got to give treats to Arya and Kobe (the two Jack Russels). Roho was still in his kennel and also got treats.
Vanna...
I didn't see or hear any planes, but they did leave some contrails in our beautiful blue sky.
That beautiful view...
The guinea hens were out in force and walked right past me, making their usual cacophony.
A cactus plant was blooming quite prettily...
Last night, we had dinner with Sharon & Bob and Tim & Judy at
Ford's Garage. Good conversation and lots of laughter.
Always fun and a fun place to go, with vehicles hanging
from the ceiling, horns honking, tires for sinks in the bathrooms...
I had a patty-melt and tater tots. Love me some tater tots!
Our waiter was happy to take our picture. Sharon, Judy, and Tim on the right. Bob, Joe, and me
on the left. We were sitting under one of the vehicles. The tires were turning!
We are going to Longhorn Steakhouse next week!
Helen and Cheryl are coming over for dinner tonight. I put a pork roast in the crockpot with potatoes and carrots. I'll steam some broccoli too and am baking a cake for dessert. It has been a quiet week and by that I mean we didn't have any doctor appointments or places to be at prescribed times (other than dinner with friends!). Nice.
Thanks for your visit today!
Peace & hugs! God bless!!

I always enjoy your pictures of the beautiful farm scenery and that restaurant sure looks like a lot of fun. Hooray for quiet weeks! Have a wonderful day, Terri!
ReplyDeleteI always love your pics. That Smile pic is awesome.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
That horsey smile! Gotta love it! Glad you were able to be out and about with friends, eating out, Terri. You all look like you're having the best time.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend!
Man, I need to move close to you. Your dinner sounds wonderful and so do the places you are eating at! lol
ReplyDeleteAs always I enjoyed the farm pictures and the skies are awesome (love contrails).
Have a great weekend.
Come on down, Cathy!!
DeleteTater tots...mmmmm...
ReplyDeleteThat horse pic smiling - the best :)
That's a great picture of you and Joe! So good to see him laughing like that after all he's been through lately. That 'cheesy' picture of Majesty is so funny.
ReplyDeleteMajesty must know what "smile" means! Too bad he needs to brush his teeth more often! LOL. He has such a nice smile otherwise! LOL. Love that you get together with your friends and have so many different places to eat out. We are pretty limited here unless we want to drive a ways, like 15-20 miles. But we do enjoy our after church brunch group and look forward to it every Sunday. I hope you have a great time with Helen and Cheryl too. dinner sounds good...what time is it??? LOL. Any more thoughts about where/what Helen is going to do? Praying with you all about that. Have a great evening.
ReplyDeleteAnything with Helen is just on hold right now. She is doing better and will be happier at home than stuck in assisted living with no social activities and no visitors. Not a good time to make a change right now while she is doing okay. Thanks for asking!
DeleteGlad Joe feels good enough to get out and I know you had fun with your friends. Enjoyed touring the farm as well.
ReplyDeleteYour description of eating at Ford's reminded me of a place we enjoyed at Fair Oaks Mall in Fairfax during our Virginia days (1984-1988). I think it was named Curly's. Did you ever eat there?
ReplyDeleteThat picture you got of Majesty (or Vanna?) smiling (laughing?) is wild. What a lucky shot!
